Title: "The Red WHeelbarrow"
Post by: KaMiKaZe_JoE on December 12, 2011, 08:09:54 pm
Such a classic poem. I'll probably have it engraved on my tombstone.

William Carlos Williams (he's kind of fuckin' dead)

so much depends
upon

a red wheel
barrow

glazed with rain
water

beside the white
chickens

I would rank it up at the top with other such great classic poetry and songs as:

I'm a little teacup, short and stout...
Barney's playtime poems
and
"Oh my god, her butt is so big... I like big BUTTS...."

"The sea is vast, endless and vast" - Harry Martinson

Shamelessly translated from swedish, it does not do it justice. Still, too good for this thread.
