Title: American Horror Story

A family of three move from Boston to Los Angeles as a means of reconciling their past anguish. They move to a restored mansion, unaware that the home is haunted.

My wife watched seasons 1 and 2 and loved them. I started watching season 3 with her and it's one of my favorite shows of all time. Nice part is that each season is it's own story, so you won't get any spoilers watching season 3 about season 1 or 2.

I liked it so much that I started marathon watching season 1 on netflix (season 2 is also there). I'd highly recommend anyone with Netflix to check out season 1 if they haven't. It's based on a haunted house (so many awesome stories and story telling that surround the house). Season 2 is at an insane asylum, don't know anything about it, but if it's anything like 1 and season 3, it has to be great. Season 3 is based on witches in New Orleans and is very cool.

There's a Rotten Tomatoes (website) app that you can find movies on netflix with very easily (and lots of non-NA/English titles)

Post by: Sir_Hans on October 28, 2013, 11:26:30 pm: I liked american horror story but it really slowed down a lot for me. Typical tv show filler and not enough horror and creepiness as the episodes progressed. But that's just my opinion.

My favorite horror film of recent memory was "The Conjuring", Probably one of my top 3 or top 5 favorite horror films of all time.

Post by: CrazyCracka420 on October 30, 2013, 03:10:36 pm: Finished first season, I thought it was very good. Great acting, but the story and the way it's presented are awesome. Love how they give you so much back story about the house (but in increments). It kept me wanting more and more. I really like that when the season ends, the story is complete. No waiting 8 or 9 months for the continuation.
