Title: I am playing more CRPG.

Hi just wanted to let you all know I am playing this game more often than before.  I mean before I played it a lot.  But I am playing it more now.  So I guess I am doing the opposite of "retiring".  Although I just retired and heirloomed something.  I meant "retire" as in not playing this game and mod anymore.  Which I am in fact... NOT DOING.  Meaning I am still gonna be playing this game... and mod... using the CRPG launcher.

That being said..  I really enjoy this mod and strategus.

Now to the important part!

I am not giving away any of my heirlooms.

Since it will start snowing in Chicago soon I plan on greasing up my triple hogged master work huscarl and go sledding down some gnarly hills.

Sorry new players but please accept my excuse.  I will be keeping my looms for myself mostly because I am going to be playing this game more often.  But looms keep getting nerfed so it will be better for you guys anyways.

The mod has come a long way and it is at least 4.8 times better than this time last year.  So I am definitely going to keep playing this game.

What about you's guys?

I SHALL also be playing - not necessarily more often, since I don't get much time to play already with work & other RL shizzle - however, I will be playing, keeping all 2 of my heirlooms, and generally not going anywhere for a long time.  No other multiplayer game out there has medieval combat that resembles cRPG as far as I know, or I would probably know about it.

I understand your pain - I'm in the same boat. I just can't stop playing cRPG and can't give away my looms. chadz is doing something wrong, he is just not able to kill the mod!  :?

As somebody who doesn't play this mod anymore, I can't say that I am retired, I also won't be giving away any looms because you are all horrible spergs.  Especially Eyebeat.

I haven't played this mod in several weeks, and that was only because I helped out in a strategus battle. If it wasn't for that it would be months. I guess you can consider me retired. I will probably come out of retirement at some point to troll some of you.

None of you can have my stuff. I would rather it fade into oblivion than any of you bundle of stickss get your spergy little hands on it.

I've always been pretty casual player of c-rpg, so you'd think with skyrim coming out I'd be playing less, but I've been playing more than ever.  Same with the last 2 patches and all the nerfing you'd think I'd want to play less, but apparently I just don't care.  Would be nice if they left well enough alone and stopped with the nerfs.  Nothing is overpowered, everything has at least one counter to it's strengths.

I've actually found that having Skyrim for a change of pace and break has continued to make cRPG enjoyable for me.  Having a group of people to play with and a consistent community makes cRPG so much better.  The fact that I can recognize who players are just from the armor they wear gives the game something extra.

I do play Knights of Honor time from time while not enuff people/pals on cRPG.  :mrgreen:

But i am a grinder by nature, so i always tend to cRPG while i have some spare time on my hands, even if it is just to check how many players and who is online  8-)

Exactly. This adds a lot to my enjoyment of this game. Just having a small community concentrated on a handful of servers makes you know people. Headhunting in battle is still fun.

The base idea of this game is awesome. Too bad the devs don't play their own games so they have no idea that Strategus is shit and that cRPG rocks, apart from some obvious problems, which they don't know off, or refuse to fix cause they hate us.

I have huge respect for people leaving crpg. I "left" crpg for about 3 or 4 times and I always came back after months or weeks. Even though I rarely play it anymore, I still enjoy playing some rounds on EU1, trolling on EU2 and checking up new patches.   
But it's not the addiction it was a few months ago and I'm happy about that.

But leaving out of anger is a lot different than leaving because this game is like a drug.

just keep them just in case you ever feel like rolling some noobs showing them how the vets got it done back in the day

but personally does it not feel like there are more people coming back to crpg? i have seen a lot of old members of clans either mine a ally's or some long dead clan come out just playing

i have seen like 3 Pxc's for example

Why keep the clan alive?  I don't get it.

Why not the members that want to keep playing just rename their clan at the very least?

oh yes it was just an example on how old players are picking up the game

and also how players who were playing other games are coming back to crpg(skyrim,cod,bf,etc)
