Used to play that grindfest bad bad bad bad bad

Me & my friends all had the top shit, etc. etc. Is-7, maus, whatever. Boring though.
Way too much camping so the average game will be 10 minutes waiting for the teams to finally fight for less than a minute, OR, you can go suicide earlier/etc/etc/etc.

+game is most fun at low tiers, just roll around tier 1 - 5 if you are going to play it.

Name: Siward
Nationality: American
Class:  M7, M5 or other fast skirmisher tanks

The game feels similar to cRPG.  It's also fun like Warband so i don't consider a fun game to be a grind.  Grinding is pressing F2 30 times in a row to kill 10 wolves :)

I have 2 accounts : Minhelm and Mtemtko , the first has Tiger II elite and the second has RAM,T14,T2 light,Su8(6x crew at 150% around 1.5mil worth modules)leopard,sherman,Su26 and a su 152.
Minhelm has T44 unlocked and a maus.. but cant afford up upkeep em :/, and T44 blows up with every shot that pierces it. (ammo rack).
There are like 3-5 other mercs that might play when it releases :P

I also play this game, but I only have a STUGIII, and Wespe.

And the JagdPZIV, but I don't care about it, in a few days I'll lose them anyway.

Nice game etc
But it feels more like "wait for red lines then shoot at it"
(enemy tanks get spotted on map etc and are highlighted with red outline things)
So you don't really sneak up and watch the environment with sharp eyes etc.
You just stand somewhere and wait for red outlining to appear and shoot at it..boring kinda.

If you don't like staying back, go light/medium, then you can sneak on enemy artillery/campers/whatever.

As a TD/Arty driver I stay back and support my team while they scout targets for me, so I can help them out.
It comes up to your preference.

It's not about the gamestyle of camping(tactical waiting). It's about the spotting gameplay that i described. It really ruins the game imo.
I mean tank battles like in the "forgotten hope" mods for Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2 if you played it

Name: McMadd
Germany and US
I use every type of tank

I've gotten my whole gaming store into the game. Everyone here is blowing up tanks now.

I actually really enjoy the spotting mechanics. I think needing the rest of your team to act as your eyes at long ranges adds a lot to teamwork. If I knew exactly where everyone was at all times I would only ever play Artillery. I had some great rounds the other day with two of my friends. We were 2 artillery and a KV. When we had balanced teams, the KV acted as our spotter and would survive plenty of hits while we rained down on whoever was shooting him. It worked well, and we had lots of fun.

T-44 cuz it's a beautiful little tank (and very effective)
and bt-2 cuz you're often top tank with only noobs
I had lots of fun with the kv and it's lolgun but i sold it

The spotting system is pretty dumb, that's why i abuse it as much as i can .
What i like to do most his hide in enemy territory with camo net and binocular +2 crew at 100% camo. It's pretty intense on the nerves when half the enemy team is 100m in front of you for many minutes and none of them can see you.

@Mtemtko once you get 2nd turret you don't get blown up as often from ammo rack, taking less ammo also seems to help and of course wet ammo rack  but i don't use it

I haven't played much since the beta started.

Have it been released for US/EU? If so or, if not. What are the major changes since the beta?
Like, more factions unlocked than Germany & Soviet? Not that you want to play as any other.

Aye, there is an EU/US server now.

Also, two new tank trees will come.

US tree is already in, other half will come after release.

And their next plan is a French tank tree.. weird I say, but the more tanks, the better!

Has anyone else put upgrades on their tier 1 tanks just for fun? I've put some of the cheaper ones on my Leichtetraktor just to see if it would make any noticeable difference for such a bad tank, and it's been pretty entertaining.

Bitches don't know about my pimped out ms-1. oh, and Ltrkaktor is garbage compared to Ms-1 sadly. the maneuverability, size, and weapon is all superior on the ms-1.
... my most played tank. I've [solo] killed Kv's, assorted tier 6 tanks, even a jagdpanther  8-) with it. You name it, and I've fucked it over in an ms-1.
Yeah, I have 13 tank slots with useful maxed tanks. The Fun to play ones.
With that being said, I haven't played in a few months. Too campy & grindy for me.
I know the entire game's system from detection, camo ratings for tanks, damage and penetration, where module's hitboxes are in tanks, etc, etc, etc. And yes, that is how I kill people in an Ms-1 all the time. I shoot important things -- first crippling the tank by knocking out gunners/commanders w/e, damaging turret rings, and shooting their fuel tanks until they go up in flames.
(click to show/hide)
--270+ games in an Ms-1 just for giggles.

With all this said, this game is really not fun after tier 7. Most fun is had between tier 1 and 6. lower the tier, the more fun being had.

I have elite status on my t44 and 60k xp with wet ammo, doesnt change the fact i get ammo racked every third match, so atm im just messing around with my KT and its long 105mm but whatever game comes out soon and american TD with it (T28/T95 GMC makes me go derp with its 300mm frontal armor and 155mm cannon)

Because you are practically driving an ammo rack.
