I've done quite a bit of defending NPC villages and it's never taken this long to be accepted. There are currently only 2 defenders accepted and I'm sure I can't be the only other person applying so I think there may be something wrong with the NPC fiefs accepting defenders. There has been a steady decline of defenders for these sieges and something like this isn't helping. Some people who applied may not even wake up in time or bother to check tomorrow if they see that they aren't accepted by tonight.
Please fix it soon.

The computer checks once an hour on the hour up until the battle starts (if it's working properly).

it seem it's a bug with the payment... apply for 0 gold and you should be accepted.

A bug with the payment for that one village? Like I said, I've defended many NPC villages. I am always accepted withing an hour or less and I always ask for 1g (just hoping to get paid something). Never had this problem before.
It ended up accepting me just before the battle, although I had applied 10 hours or more before it was to start. It all worked out in the end, we defenders put up a pretty good fight too.
There was probably some minor issue with the server or something, I just hope things like that can be minimized. It's hard enough to get people to defend those villages without having to deal with bugs like this.

Seems like I have the same problem. I applied for Tshibtin (NPC) several hours ago but I am still not accepted. Only Merc's and ANT's are accepted so far.

This is bugged, NPC ain taking any ppl if u dont apply for 0 gold

I was finally accepted a few minutes before the start when I changed to 0 gold (1 gold before). No wonder why village defences have so few people on defenders side.

hmm about a week ago when i last signed up for an NPC defense I was accepted within an hour after I asked for the default 600 gold. Don't think I ever received gold from village defenses though so I usually change to 0

It's happening again. :mad: This time it's to defend Shapeshte at 22:53 EST. I'll keep checking up until the battle starts but if it doesn't work for me or anyone else that's hoping to get in, the 3 defenders that it's currently showing accepted are going to have a tough time.
Unless it's the developers intention to give away the few remaining villages this needs to be fixed ASAP.
