Well it was the first kind of coding I did, and I did it on the original Mount and Blade a while before there was any sign of Warband. I was in secondary school and me and my little brother used it to make weirdness, such as throwing swords, weightless unkillable armour, and custom troops and gear utilising this kind of stuff. I started to dabble with the particle systems but couldn't get a lot properly working with it. Just follow the instructions and you can have your own funny test mod thingie.

If you have not used the Module System before then I suggest that you start out with Morgh`s.

I make a ton of mods for myself using Morgh`s. It is a fun program which makes mod making into a dream :P The only mods I make using the Module System are mods that I actually release.
