Title: An Event - Inspired by the Fallen Burnings

So here's an idea:

Why don't we have an event where everyone can use the fire staves in some sort of tournament against the developers or something along those lines.
Some rewards mentioned were XP packages, possibly a loom point, things like that. Suggestions are welcome. I believe that we need events like this to help keep the cRPG community alive. Give people something to look forward to(or a break from) other than the grindfest that it is right now.

Haha, like a pie throwing contest at teachers back in gradeschool? I love it, the only problem is finding teachers willing to do it, and then they have to let us use their pies :P

The problem is I doubt anyone other than the devs' special characters have the requirements to use the staves. Not sure what they require but it would make a whole lot of sense to make the requirements higher than anyone could possibly get.

But for that one day/event they could lower the requirement.

That would mean new patch either side of the event methinks.

A patch isn't needed to change the requirements of a weapon IIRC. Pretty sure that they can just do it. I could be wrong though.

and also i like the idea of trying to see if we can kill off the devs before they wipe us out with their fiery staffs of doom

and then the final boss is chadz with a ban hammer which bans you from the fight for 5 minutes or something it would be funny

and if we win we get some xp and gold it would be beast

maybe it would be like Juggernaut  wear one dude gets uber admin powers and we have to kill him and whoever holds it longer gets a loom or something or maybe a fiery weapon that has the stats of the weapon its based off of

Its time for shield wall Sundays ladies. Get on it.

No cav, 5 archers per team, 1h shielders. Just bring an alt you big sookes (precrime is still crime!)
