There is a sale on steam right now and I'd like to buy a copy of Warband for my fiance so we can play cRPG together but I've heard that having more than one key at the same IP can get you banned. I seriously doubt she will ever want to play Strategus or use the marketplace and if that is the only concern I will make sure she never does. I have never used the market place myself and don't plan to anytime soon if ever. Are there any exceptions to the 1 key per IP rule? If only one of them plays Strat and neither of them use the marketplace, I don't see much room for exploiting, but I really don't know.
Please help me figure this out as the sale ends tomorrow!

2 keys for 2 different persons is fine.

So uh, me and my brother share my account and he was thinking about getting his own key..

Does that mean she can play Strat or use the marketplace if she wishes to do so?
-
Yes. As long as she is a separate entity, a real person, then she can use her own CD key and have her own main.

Yes, but we're having a close look at those actions.

Ok, thanks! I'll buy it for her today. And you won't have to worry about any questionable activity from us, we enjoy challenges and hate cheaters. Now if I can just get her through the frustration of the learning curve, we'll make a good team. :P
