Title: siege servers automatic reboot
Post by: Corrado_Decimo on November 26, 2011, 09:00:34 am
Well, i don't know if i'm the only one that noticed triple-quad text even with few players in siege servers. in the stronghold thread, chadz said that spawned siege stuff gets only visually removed but is still stored filling server resources.

Can this be the cause of sudden spikes, unregistered blocks/swings and triple-text chat? if yes, could we set siege servers to automatically reboot at a given time? (example a scheduled 7:00AM reboot everyday).

i think could keep the servers fresh, clean and solve lag-related problems.

devs, enlighten us.

Hey, this could also lead to an explanation of the "wood miracle" bug.

You know, when a siege equipment seems to break every quarter of second, with the horrible sound and wood flying all over the place.
