Give it more love and let's buff it!!!
(seriously... you need to buff this or lower the cost to like 6000 because now... it's a pure waste)
so what the community think of that?
-
Yeah I ran a poll a while ago. Its a pretty hard lance to use that's for sure. It would be great if it had the old poke arc then it would have a purpose. If you buff its thrust then it will out compete some of the spears and become an infantry weapon, which would be a little bit stupid.
I would laugh if they could make it couch-able on foot.
-
Buff the swing damage, drop a point or 2 of thrust damage and lower it's price.
-
^ that
-
Would love to see this weapon in use, don't think I've ever noticed one except on the duel server, so I'm all for some adjustments.
-
bumpity bump!
double sided lance neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed your help!!
+1 if yes for a buff
-1 if no for a buff
-
Maybe readjust its stats a bit and make it 1slot. As it is noone will choose it as an actual lance because 130 length is just too low for lancing. Although if it was 1slot maybe people would.
-
I've attempted to use it but there's really no point when there are better choices, the only thing that makes it slightly appealing is the thrust damage.
I would put a +1 for it having the old lancing angles on a horse though.
-
I saw a couple of people using it in the last days and they are doing really well with it due to the speed and high pierce dmg.
No buff needed
-
I have never seen it in battle, IMHO current one is useless - ashwood pike has almost same stats but is much longer and much cheaper.

Facepalm, Gisbert. You saw people using the ashwood pike...
-
I used the ashwood a few times during the last days and I saw some others with it.
In fact, double sided lance needs a buff and ashwood a nerf, at least make it 1,5 or 2 k more expensive, and make it unusable with a shield. And I say that as a dedicated ashwood pike user now :)
+1, so I have more reason to stay with my light lance even on foot.
-
Can you sideswing with the double-sided lance?
-
yes, you can. although with 16b on swings i'd say it's rather useless (apart from polestagger).

And why did I see double-sided lances on the ground?
Facepalm yourself
But maybe those guys switched to other polearms later cause they recognised they can do even better with other poles, dunno
