Title: 0 weapon master
Post by: Elmokki on November 17, 2011, 02:00:01 pm
Seeing how you can get about 110 wpf even with 0 wm at level 30, how viable are builds with 0 weapon master if you just use one weapon type?

I was thinking of level 30 24/18 1h + shield build with 8 ps, 6 shield, 6 athletics, which is basically my current build except for 3 more agi along with the benefits of it and 20 less wpf in 1h (90 crossbows was kind of nice, but I'm not gonna use that for next gen)

0 WM is totally viable. Hopefully one day they change this crap though.

Yeah you can do quite well without wm.
I still take it cause it just feels better. Cant tell why cause difference isnt big
but i dont have fun with less then 140 wpf.

My current build is going to be 0 WM with 100 wpf polearm and 55 wpf 1h (cav). I'm fine with it, as I do suck anyways
I dont see any difference between 100 and 110 wpf btw.

If you check on Vagras damage calculator tools, you'll see that wpf raise damages, difference between 100 and 140 (144 exactly) is something about 3 or 4 points, not that much but, about speed i dunno.

and don't forget about weapon upkeep.
the lower wpf you got the higher's the chance of the weapon breaking.

suddenly it became a problem for me not so long ago.  :|

Is that only for weapon or for other equipment (horse, armour) too?

Only for weapons. Ammo, horses, shields and armour are all unrelated to wpf.
