So this year there have been ALOT of great games which have come out and some better than others. Which do you think is the best game of 2011? Vote now! If voting ''Others'' be sure to tell which one.
And yes i love Deus Ex Human Revolution the most and yes IMHO it deserves GOTY 2011.

Added some new ones. And RO2 as good as it is now should be shit on for it's incredibly buggy release as well for having to postpone it a couple of hours which upset me who stayed up extra long that night for that glitchy buggy POS.
Now it's fine but. That's what ''others'' option are for. Can't name every goddamn game of 2011 lol.

I'm very biased as i haven't played Skyrim yet but even without having played it i can say Deus Ex Human Revolution is GOTY 2011. Fulfilled everything i wanted out of a game.
But in any case i gotta admit. As a gamer 2011 have been one of the best years in well...years lol.
Doubt 2012 will top this in amount of awesome games. Though it's the end of the world in December so who cares.

Not BF3 either. It's gonna be between Skyrim and Minecraft. The nerds have disliked every big machinima video and thumbed up every pro Skyrim/Minecraft comment lol.
IF it's user rating it's gonna be 1 of those.
Probably the same with critiques.
However there's still 1 big game coming out this year that have been very hyped and could if done right get GOTY. And that's AC Revelations. I doubt it but all we can do is wait and see :P
Also i very sad panda that Deus Ex HR won't win any award this year i believe. Storyline or whatever will most likely go to L.A Noire.

I just can't stand mw3 fanboi who's like yey mw3 is the shit IW rules and makes so awesome original games (lol), and BF3 is shit, ea is shit, (Get it? They are so retarded that they say EA, not DICE) everything is shit, IT'S NOT COD.
Sadly that's how a huge part of the fanbase is like. Disgusting.
Ruining one of the most awesome series with their console mind&soulless fanboism, and PC preference got shafted.
No leaning, horrible small maps that make sniper rifles and sniping/any tactical play obsolete, and kiddos think that 1080 degree noscope headshots make them cool and they are also weapon experts.

Besides IMHO and just IMO every damn game doesn't have to be Innovative lol. Look at racing games, yearly sports games :P If it has a formula that works and provides the thing everyone should look for in games and nothing else = FUN it's all good.
Also i got BF3, MW3 and many more of those games listed as well as ordered Skyrim :P
I like all games. Except Karaoke games, crappy soccer games because soccer is a bundle of sticks ''sport'' and oh and shitty games like League Of Legends.

Still, was a fun game :P Dumbed down a little bit to run well with consoles because of their limitations. PC gamers are very demanding and piracy is so big on PC in comparison to consoles. Then there's hacks which seems much more common on PC and finally there's more money to be made with consoles. And money is honey. Also just wait 1-3 years max and there will be new consoles with much better components and the games ported to PC will be much better than now for the first 6-12 months since next gen consoles are released.

Voted for Portal 2, I was glued to the screen until I've finished it.
Skyrim is epic but I don't feel the urge to play it.
Terraria was great as well.
But in all honesty, game of the year 2011 for me is the same GotY 2010 and that is c-rpg :)

My two choices would either be Witcher 2 or Skyrim. I loved the Witcher 2 for it's story, design and style. It was so well put together. But equally Skyrim is turning out to be an epic game :)

Voted Skyrim. Haters may hate, but TES is still the best sandbox fantasy RPG series with each installment and sets the bar for all the imitators.

Battlefield 3, this is just yet another major breaktrough in gameplay, it's so much more realistic and fun to play than other games currently. A worthy follow-up on Battlefield 2 and 1942.
I'm still too busy playing Oblivion and downloading Skyrim that I didn't even play it(TES 5) yet.

While I agree Battlefield 3 is pretty much THE shooter nowadays, I can hardly say it's a "major breakthrough in gameplay".
