Title: Tribes Ascend Beta anyone?

Anyone playing this beta?  I missed Tribes.  It doesn't feel quite the same, but still an amazingly fun game if you're into faster paced shooters.

Can sign up for a chance to get beta, pre-purchase and get in now, or find a special offer somewhere to get a beta key.  (Curse gaming has a giveaway right now.)

Man up ya pansies.  I play this between large chunks of Skyrim.  Quite a nice taste on the palette right now.

Think you have to pre-purchase to get into the beta.  Tribes 1 and 2 were amazing, hopefully they will live up to the tribes name. 

Really really worried about the free to play bullshit, but we'll see, i'll give it a go

I played it. Didn't like it. I uninstalled it.

I'll probably give it another chance when it comes out since most of my friends are playing it.

Topped some boards of Team Deathmatch right off the bat after I finished downloading earlier today. The whole "no friction" thing just needed a bit of practice. :D

Going for a sniper type dude. Going to be fun  :)

Hehe I think infiltrator is really fun. Capture the flag is where its at! I unlocked the sniper class it was pretty fun but can get old quick... Try out the infiltrator first! SO AWSUM!!!

Didn't like it, got bored after an hour or so. Its not as...chaotic? fast paced? as the originals.
