I don't know if this is possible but I reckon it would be cool to be able to use certain items in the maps, e.g. all those weapons you see lying around which are just props, the horses which aren't real etc.
Especially this one :o

EXCALIBUR

If you can pull it out...

Yes please. Make it an object you can interact with, so that holding "F" at it for awhile will drop a single Excalibur sword that has relatively balanced but desirable stats, something that teams might want to fight over. Also make it expensive as hell so that the bastard who ends up with it might get raped by upkeep, a tactic partially to deter archers from using it.

I wouldn't actually want an Excalibur in-game (unless it were a separate game mode) but if there were one, it ought to have magical or otherwise extraordinary abilities.
Such as one (or more) of the following:
Crushthrough
Bonus against shields
Cannot harm friendlies
Increased athletics on wielder
Can break enemy weapons
Side effects:
Unbalanced
Cannot be sheathed

Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

EXCALIBUR
Excalibur was actually not the sword in the stone.
The sword in the stone was just that. A sword.
Excalibur was the sword given to Arthur by the lady of the lake.

I never knew amphibians were expert swordsmiths. This tale makes no sense at all. Steel rusts underwater.
