I propose we add the game mode, Capture the Flag to crpg. It would be based on the same game mode in mp Native. You would gain exp/gold in the same way as seige. Your team must pull the flag down in center of map to win. I always enjoyed this game mode in Native and it would be a new expansion to cRPG.
Also Search and Destroy is a great game mode. :)

flag in the center of the field would be like "king of the hill" mode.
I support...but...well...The battle server is rarely full and the siege server never is. So it would kind of deplete the other game modes.
I think it should be worked in to the battle server...every 3rd or 5th map is a TDM king of the hill mode!

lolwut? The EU battle and Siege server is generally full most of the time.
-
Siege server isnt full?! ITS FCKNG ALWAYS FULL WITH GREY ORDER WHO GRINDS THEYR X5 THERE WHOLE DAY!

I hate when games put in some arbitrary token for a game mode instead of staying with the spirit/theme of the game. It shows the lack of effort on devs part when they dont take the time to develop their game, just slapping something another game did into theirs, like a copy/pasted essay.
Battlefield Bad Company2 is a game I despised for this. Instead of cool themed objectives like say a downed blackhawk helicopter, nuclear power plant/silo control panel, experimental prototype vehicle....you destroy some stupid looking box/chest every round.
Instead of a flag could we have something that makes sense? Any of the following would be much better than some arbitrary flag
Enchanted/legendary weapon?
Wagon filled with goods that players have to pull to their side?
Barrel you have to roll to your side
A letter or dispatch
Bag of coins or ingot
Flask of alcohol
Crown

You sir, are a fucking genius, how the hell this never came up in my mind?
We could do something like PAYLOAD in TF2. Team one has to push the cart/barrel/bomb/whatever to Team 2 base, team 2 has to stop team 1 from doing so, until round time ends. They also could push it back, but at 50% speed of the attackers, to balance things out.
AMAZING.

Indeed these are much better.
Actualy i played a game called Lead and Gold some time ago and it had something like that.
Would be realy cool to see in Crpg.

As Garison already said, what the OP describes is better referred to as King of The Hill mode, which I would be for.
-
First normal CTF with some gold instead of a flag
then king of the hill but not with teams :P

A FANTASTIC game mode would be BOOTY from the Pirates, Vikings, & Knights II mod for Half-life 2. In it, each side has a base with a certain amount of treasure chests. You need to capture the chests from the opposing team and bring them to your base. The more chests you have on your side the faster your counter goes down. Whenever you are carrying a chest, you are slowed and cannot attack or defend.
It's a terribly fun mod, though not as popular as it once was. Check it out: http://www.pvkii.com/
