Title: Post death collision
Post by: Sawbone on November 10, 2011, 04:39:46 pm
Hey folks,

Just a quick idea: the most frustrating kind of team hit, for me at least, is when my sword passes through a dead target and hits his executor.

Ex.: Me and a teammate swing at an opponent, I'm in front and he's behind the target. I swing to keep the target's attention, he attempts to block, but my teammate digs through the target's back and kills him before my blade hits the opponent's block.

What usually happens next is that my blade passes through the target and hits my teammate.

Would it be possible to keep the collision on a dead player a few seconds after he is officially dead? This way I would hit the dead target and not my teammate.

Cheers,

Don't know if it's possible, but it would sure increase the usefulness of all the peasant meat on the servers.

yay, its back woo the idea that won't leave the building.

I say bodies should explode on death and deal aoe dmg, say over 9000.

Hehe, sorry no idea this was mentioned before - did search for collision suggestions but did not find one about this... missed it apparently.
