Title: Wheres the Naginata?

So. I while ago I saw a picture of a Naginata in game and also heard a rumour that it was going to be added in along with the Yumi bow.

Now the Yumi bow is ingame but the Naginata is not? Just wondering if there's still any plans on adding it ingame.

Stats wise I think they should be near enough the same as the Long Hafted Blade. Just length size should be different.

Its hidden behind a thinly vailed hatred of the Japanese.

It would be cool.

I do however believe that the devs want the mod to be more western european. So don't get your hopes up for more Japanese or Chinese gear. I'm fully expecting that the "strange armor" will be removed. It is hediously ugly.

I would love to see a whole big pile of Japanese gear come in, but I doubt it will. I offered and so have many others to put the modles together, but I've never seen any indication that the work would be worth it. I personaly don't want to spend days making modles for nothing.

A naginata, yari and a longer katana model were submitted SEVERAL months ago. If you want to see them your only hope is to pester Shik on IRC.

Not really understanding the developers. What bad could come to cRPG by adding more armors? Wouldn't it only cause more variation? Isn't that what cRPG is all about?

We already have a naginata...
as posted, the hafted blades are naginatas.  What are you referring to when you say "naginata" that isn't already in the game?
