Hi,
in our tournament map we've got permanently spawning catapults, they are probably causing instability of the server, higher pings and most likely even crashes of some players. Our mapmaker says he can't get rid of them. Anybody knows anything about this problem?

Is there an entry point, where they spawn? If so, remove it.
-
They spawn on the entry point whenever someone enters, if the entry point is removed then people cant spawn there.

What exactly is a tournament map? Battle? Deathmatch? Anyway, here's some info about the entry points, although you probably knew this already: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,89831.0.html
Only suggestion I can make is delete the offending entry point, save, rebuild using the module system, edit map, put a new entry point where the old was, save, rebuild. If this doesn't work, either, the server is mixing up game modes and thinks you are hosting a capture and destroy map or whatever the mode with catapults is called.

We've run various modes on the server but I think deathmatch is the only one that's had the problem (correct me if I'm wrong). I think all of the spawn entry points have the problem. Also, I don't think it has anything to do with capture and destroy mode mixups. These are working, fireable catapults that are spawning. The problem has only occurred since they were added to the mod.

Deathmatch is used by chadz as testbed for new features. It's not a map issue.

Yeah technically deathmatch isn't cRPG compatible, so it must be that.
