So, once again I am victimised...
CMP, why did your hatred of me start. I have YET to start any argument, I still have never started any trolling, any flaming, anything. My only problem has ALWAYS been that I don't like bullies so I hit back. Time and again I try to come here for mediation, get told Im a troll and I should STFU. I then try to resolve the issue myself, and get punished for simply trying to defend myself.
You need to stop being such a bully. Your attitude is ugly, you attack the helpless. All I want is to play crpg: I kill enemy team, enemy team kills me. Sometimes I get teamhit/teamkilled by accident. It happens all the time. I always say, "O lol fail" or "np man" or whatever. Sometimes I kill teammats by accident: I always say "Sorry" or "FFS Im so sorry" or w/e. Some days, I get flamed and trolled, I tell the person involved to get fucked, they teamkill me a few rounds, I post screenshots here, I get banned. I defend myself, I get banned. I just walk away: I get teamkilled and THEN banned.
HOW am I supposed to do anything to please you man: You have some massive hatred for me, even tho I've never done anything negative to you, and you have never taken the time to speak to me. I dont want arguments, I dont like to fuck with teammates, I just want to get to lvl 31, retire, get new shiney things to stab enemies with. I dont even troll any newbies, like most of the decent people in this community I direct them to c-rpg.net, I answer questions in chat, I try to be productive and active in strat, I try to help my team win as best I can each round, I dont prolong rounds or try to mess the autobalance around, I dont abuse upkeep system to charge around in plate armour on a charger:
I JUST TRY TO PLAY THE GAME: ONCE I exploited DTV and was banned, and felt pretty shitty, and was glad to be back. MANY TIMES players have taken personal dislike to me and we have had altercations and I have served my sentence each time for breaking rules, and the last time Serfonz said to me: "Just keep your cool and report it here." so since then I have, and the FIRST time I cannot screenshot because ctrl+insrt is too hard to press while blocking, you fucking drop on me like a ton of bricks.
Stop judging me wrong. I just like to play, on forums sometimes I say silly things (Like "Buff ranged") or w/e, but ingame I never do ANYTHING negative (cept maybe kick my clanmates at round start, but we all do it).

I have been in this community for over a year and a half. There are people who have been here much longer.
There are so many people in this community who have been here for a much longer time than yourself and none of them have had even a warning in game, regardless of people teamhitting them or what-not. You're "victimised" as you put it because you break the rules. Your word has been tarnished by your past escapades and therefore the rulings will go against you more cases than not.
Why do people instantly assume that "u mad bro" or that someone has a hatred for them because they did something wrong? And besides, fighting with cmp will only make that ban stick, certainly not the right way to go about this.
On a side note, you'll find no sympathy here, you'll merely be trolled, mainly by the people who have been here longer and never had a single warning because they know that the only way to be in your position is to have broken the rules.

I REALLY don't want to fight with cmpx. I just want to be able to have a conversation with him. Since everytime he makes a descision he then locks the thread, or he accuses me then mutes me, or flames me on IRC then bans me from the irc channel.
I understand that my word doesnt mean much, which is why I try to screenshot everything for records, and am the first to say "Check the Logs". In this case, again, check the logs if possible: I didnt even know of the guy attacking me's excistance before he started spamming 2h cleaver into my back.
I too have been in this community for a long time, since the game was available to download for all. MANY times I have been in controversy, it's true: I lose my cool when people try to bully or insult me, but it has been a long time since I have responded with anything but "wisecracks" in chat, because I learnt my lesson: Today all I did was defend myself, and this is the result: I SHOULD have let the guy teamkill me, then screenshot it, but instead I blocked him, slapped him back and used that moment to escape his range and ask him "It's not so funny, is it?" because he seemed to be enjoying teamattacking me.
I freely admit: It was wrong of me to try to defend myself, I should have just documented it, but I did just that a few days ago and I just got trolled for it. I lost my cool at a guy breaking the rules, so I responded in kind, and it was childish of me. But I don't think it's worthy of a permaban.
And, again, the last thing I want is to fight an omnipotent figure who brooks no argument, I just want to be able to discuss it with him...

I used to be friends with Thomek, was in his clan in first strategus, then from one week to the next he forgot who I was...so I left ninja...and then he started kicking me midgame...so yeah, let him decide if you think that is fair, I can't really argue with anything you decide, can I?
Decide what btw? I am glad we are discussing it, and all that: ulitmately, I just feel that you all have a really bad impression of me, because I cannot generate the same amount of hate as is generated at me. Maybe I AM as bad you all believe, but I honestly don't think I am, ask players who actually know me, they will tell you: I'm always willing to help, I really value my place in this community, and I'm always ready for a laugh. I don't like the culture of "Troll first, then flame" that the internet has developed so I apologise if I have got a bit caught up in it, but I really feel I am being railroaded more by public opinion than by just representation of my actions.

Off-topic: Perhaps people need to realize that they only get warned if they stop being civil and break forum rules. You can leave constructive feedback without being warned. My favorite examples are, in my own thread; Dasty who left negative feedback in a calm manner and properly explained his points, or Siboire who also managed to leave feedback without delving into nonsense.

GREY RULEZ and ban s are starting to get completly random.... unban him, i played with him for hours and hours he s not a guy that should have been banned, unless you guys are yelous and illiterate, he s one of the guys that is really smart so i m sure there was no reason to ban him, sorry if you c him slap somebody, but i would hold any bet that it was well deserved...

I've played with Grey and been in TS a few times with him. I've never heard him intentionally go after someone unless they went after him first.
I haven't heard or seen him intentionally "troll" team mates (not counting clan mates ofc)
What does troll even mean btw? I see it as insulting someone on a very personal level knowing they'll take offence (this doesn't include yo momma, you're a **** etc etc) and team wounding
Anywho, I think Grey's ok, there's plenty of players who get away with shit because they're well placed, have friends or there weren't any admins around at the time.
Which leads me to conclude:
1) Unban Grey
2) Get some more fucking admins, PLEASE

I think I would be more sad then mad, though really it would entirely depend on the reason why I was permabanned.

Take that issue back to its source and see that I got in an argument with THAT player because he was kicking/overheading friendlies on siegemode, and while you were quick to ban me for flaming him, you didnt stop him from doing it.
Again: I havent said I didn't attack the Warden player back: I had to have space to run away from him, I had short sword and he had 2handed. I freely admit I should have just let him teamkill me and screenshotted it. Instead I fought him off and laughed at him in chat, and that was wrong of me.

I have played this game for about a year and in the space of time have never been warned, muted or banned. I think i got kicked once for being inconsiderate and bumping people at spawn. People aren't victimised. If you stick to the rules and dont talk shit, then you could avoid being in this situation.

You just proved his "Willing to admit you are wrong" point.
Even if you don't believe you are wrong, sometimes it is just better to roll over, have your slap on the wrist and get on with life without kicking up such a big fuss about it. If each time I was outraged that I was "wronged" in some way, or if I believed something was right or someone else was wrong then I would probably be dead by now, i'm a very opinionated person, like yourself it seems but as I say, keep it under control. Sometimes it's even more fun to swear about people under your breath than outright rage at them because then you can turn around, look at them straight in the eyes and smile knowing that they have no clue.
Even if it's something like that it's much better creating threads like this so that the community dislikes you (I won't use the word hate because that's reserved for people who think that everyone is hating on them or is "mad").
Close the thread, take a deep breath, send a pm to cmp appologising maybe with a little message saying "I over reacted" and secretly plot to kill him like so many others.

*Grey is caught once again in trouble.
*Previously caught (numerous times?) trying to FRAME and implicit other players by trolling them into teamkilling him.
Caught repeatedly bumping and accidentally shooting me myself. (Wonder how many others he's done that to, if he can do it to a known hardliner admin with such ease)
*I've lost count of the amount of chances and time and frustration wasted on you. So the time for final decisions has passed. More like the drug addict of the family at this point. No cred, no trust, just sadness.
*You are not a funny troll even.. (Like Panos or Fasader)

Sometimes your posts on the forums can be mistaken for contribution.
PENALTY:
I usually try to think about the criminal's social education in addition to the comfort of other players, and I will try to that now as well. For example if two kids are overly whining about each other, I kick or ban both for a short time. Likewise if someone is obviously hot headed and need a break to cool down. Sometimes I get the feeling that people never played soccer or whatnot in the schoolyard as kids.. You are supposed to learn some stuff there, but some people never got it.
Anyway. I think a serious break is in order for Grey, in addition to an essay.
Basically, it's a permaban, with 1 (one) chance of essay unban in 4 weeks. (Sunday 4th of december)
The essay will be titled:
Anti-Soscial Behavior in Multiplayer Video Games, how virtual identities influences morality.
It will consist of three parts:
1. Introduction of the problem with examples
2. Present your thesis(es) of reasons for the phenomenon
3. Conclusion: Present your thesis of wether this is combat-able, if so, what options exists, what works and what doesn't, together with your ideas of new reaction methods.
You can supply a pdf or mimick proper formatting in a forum post. At least 7500 signs.
The essay will be properly formatted, signs that you are using your own thoughts and thinking will be valued over mindless filling of pages. You can consult me about the essay for feedback during your process. All this might seem like a lot to you, but writing an essay like this won't kill you. It's actually great practice should you choose to go to uni at some point, except there all the answers will be given, and it will most likely be of a more boring or at least distant subject.

I fail to see that as an argument. An argument is where two adults hold different views on a subject, and each expounds his/her ideas, trying to convince the other of their merit. There has been no argument here.
