The native Scythe looks nothing like a real Scythe. It might be interesting to use a accurate one. Looking more like this:
visitors can't see pics , please register or login
Also I believe the M&M mod has Russian militia which also uses a accurate Scythe. Perhaps it would be possible to borrow the model or something?

Well, our scythe model is actually accurate.
Levied troops, militias and 'scythemen' used to modify their weapon to look like this, because it's a lot more effective.

Also. Many scythes (farming tool) looked like the scythe used in warband. There are more than one style of scythe, ya know!

Well then having the Farmers Scythe as a new weapon. Why? Here's why:

Besides would allow for peasants to look more like peasants :P. While we're at it maybe even a two handed wooden club without the cutting pieces on it.
