This should be in strategus issues section :o

Why shouldn't someone be allowed to tuck tail and drop their goods like a little girl?

By all means they should be allowed to.... but then we should be allowed to pick it off the ground as we watch him run.

Actually I lost only the tradegoods, so no biggie.

because where did the goods go, i gained nothing but wasted time from this battle, i knew he had goods, and i planned on taking them, but if every caravan can just drop the goods once they are locked in battle, then what is the point in it. The only thing that was gained was him not getting gold, me wasting time, and him being flung to some random place on the map.
-
Clearly he burned it all.

I agree I do not like the idea of being able to dump the goods. In a war you take the time to pick off targets. There is a risk in doing so. You should be rewarded when you get one carrying goods.

So i heard a noobwegian got raided hard. Serves him right :)
-
I am just a neutral my old friend taking a stroll and then I get savagely attacked by ruffians... this is unacceptable.
-
This "feature" might also make it very hard for bandits and raiders to squeeze out a living.
Worm does not approve.

I think chadz fixed this "bug", not 100% sure though.
