Title: Recently Heirloomed Items not Available For Crafting + Certain heirlooms
Post by: BlueGreen on October 31, 2011, 03:31:02 pm: Hmm well im not sure whether this is so much a bug or a feature; but I heirloomed blue blue arena helmet a while back and despite changing towns and castles quite a few times since then it remains a unheirloomed helmet for crafting in strategus. Also my spirited cataphract horse isnt available to craft at all.

I hope this hasnt been mentioned before I quickly looked through for it; kinda sux if u cant craft your newer heirloomed stuff though.

Post by: Zaharist on October 31, 2011, 03:40:21 pm: It's not a bug. Now you need chadtexts to craft your heirloomed helmet. This has been mentioned several times before in different threads ^^
You cataphract horse will be available to craft after you get text for it.

It IS related to crafting skill. That's what people have been saying here and in the other threads.

When you get the text you get +3 to all the items you are currently wearing and -1 to everything else. If you spawned with a sword, but dropped it before you got the text, you wont get anything for the sword. If you spawned with a horse, but it died before you got the text, you wont get anything for it. If you pick up a weapon/mount someone else's horse, you get for those too. You can't get negative smith skill btw. The -1 only reduced those you have gotten from before.

If they got the text before going above 31, then they are able to craft, afaik.

Is this because the does not give my lvl 31+ char chadztext anymore?

Some weeks ago i read, that they fixed it and chadz-text is avaiable for 31+ Chars now too... isn´t it?
