Title: Should an alt, XP+Gold Bonus be added retroactively.

Seems hugely complicated.

More than likely way too much work than its worth.

See this if confused... to become more confused.

To clarify I vote no. NO! Terrible idea, but I think it needs to be debated. Only however through the lens of an xp/gold sharing mechanism for alts+main.

it would be nice to implement ex:

lvl 25 main
lvl 15 alt

take the xp/gold from the alt and give it to the main thus making lvl 15 1 and the 25 lvl up accordingly to how much xp/goold he got

As much as I would like this, I can only see it being abused. Since people will just make an alt, run around in peasant gear and there you have it, a grinding character.

No, too exploitable.
No gold/xp transfer.

Only thing, to profit from alts, is the idea of consuming it to gain the heirloomed items.
And if of course you add some items only alts can heirloom, then it can be pretty epic indeed.
