Title: We need dropkicks!
Post by: Captain_Kirk on October 30, 2011, 11:56:06 pm
Reason?
Its awesome!

Examples;

This one shows how incredibly powerfull this move is. Its used instead of the guns because it outdamage guns big time. A good way to do a surprise 'drop' on the lame crossbowmen/archers that just hang around acting all cool:

This is how the faint of the dropkick will work and just goes to show how powerfull and game enhancing it would be. It looks like the kick is going to land on target but in the last minute the direction is changed so that the 'end' ends up on target completely baffling the opponent;

(note how its the preferred weapon in the arsenal against daggers and katana spammers)

This is yet another example of good use of the dropkick faint. Note how its used to take out 2 opponents at the same time and the third opponent stands blanded by the sight of pure awesomeness, skill, and perfect technique.

Totally
I cant imagine a single battle where the dropkick havent been used to some extent. Ofc most effectivly by the winning side.

Wasnt it Napoleon who said ''A leader is a dealer in dropkicks''?

Joan D'arc once said ''dropkick, and God will act''

King Richard also said ''Each dropkick I make is my focus at that time.''

Shakespeare - ''Some Cupid kills with arrows, some with dropkicks''

Theodore Roosevelt - ''Believe you can and you're halfway there.'' (referring to dropkicks ofc)

Geoffrey Chaucer - ''People can die of mere dropkicking.''

Fail. These are actually dropKIRKs, not dropKICKs.

But in all seriousness, dropkicking a rider off his horse would be awesome. To counter spamming, dropkicks that miss should reduce your health by roughly 30%. Oh, and dropkicks should of course "knock down", both the kicker and the victim.

The animations should be based on the perfect form of the true master.

The dmg should, for the sake of gameplay and balance be reduced with about 800% so that it still has a chance to oneshot if its landed in the gonads or head. The victim should still have a chance to survive the blow. Unlikely as it might seem its for the sake of gameplay.

Also we should be able to get bigger rocks with 7ps.
As in this tremendious battle of the titans.
