Title: Upkeep for Equipment?

Hi, I have been playing Crpg for a while and have recently set up a Horse Archer alt.

I am struggling with the upkeep of repairing my gear.I have resorted to wearing hardly anything and only taking my bow.It seems just about every round I play my stuff is getting damaged know matter how little gear I take.

I have not been able to use my horse as my other  stuff always needs repairing.Is there anything I can do to help with this like a certain type of server?

Any help, much appreciated.

Most of your upkeep is the horse, but the arrows cost a lot too, because they need repairing very often.

Use shitty nomad bow and barbed arrows.

Use shitty steppe horse.

Use shitty light armor.

Carry a 1h stick or something as a sidearm.

Profit, but have no fun!

Remember that your gear is less likely to break when you WIN the round.

So frequent repairs are more common on losing teams.

i have never understood why when people first enter a game based around melee combat, they either want to be cav or archers

It's called MOUNT and blade, not blade only.

you misunderstand me

I am saying mount&blade is unique for its melee system (aside from AoC but that mod sucks). Hundreds of rpgs and action games already offer well designed mount systems (Not talking about crappy mmo mounts)

The game comes in native form with melee, archery, throwing, crossbows, cavalry.
