If anyone has ever used Pure Data or Max/MSP, new Max 6 is coming out sooon! If you get Max 5 you get a free upgrade to 6. I bought 5 awhile ago so I'll have to pay for it.  :cry:

Still have no idea what the program created after the first two videos.

The third one cleared it up a bit, but still, the guy in the second video isn't really playing that? It sounds pretty impossible to play, but that is a live performance so I doubt it has been done with a program.

The rest is music that I don't like with low quality samples, I'm probably missing something, please elaborate.

Buuuuut, what does this program have to do with the awesome guitar playing in the second video? It looks like he's playing it, but it sounds unguitarlike, so I guess this program does something but what and how?

It's taking in his audio feed, and choosing which parts to play. Random samples I believe, which are ever changing since the audio it has buffered is what he is playing being recorded live.
But the program can MAKE sequencers, synths, effects, filters, combine all them, everything in between and go beyond that too.
