Yes I know, but we decreased it because it was op nerf nerf nerf!
90 degrees is too limited. I feel that 120 would be more appropriate with the right hand side being limited to 45 and the shield side getting 75. If at all possible the shield side should receive 110 arc while stationary or moving at a crawl aka 80% of base foot speed. I define base foot speed as 3agi no clothes or armor.
Cav are powerful, but I feel they should be more powerful especially highly maneuverable.
My main is currently a 1h cav.
My most played char is my 2h str only build followed by my 1h agi whore.
I don't believe that I am biased towards cav, I just feel like they should be more of a threat to each other and to foolish infantry.
They present a threat to infantry that should be forcing more team play but since 90 degree poke was brought it I've found it much easier to pull horsemen off their sweet rides with a sword than I ever did then they could pull to the right and poke at the last minuet.
My hope is that a more deadly cav class will create more team play and less, I am rambo! It would however probably just result in hyper douche baggary and people crying about not being able to rambo everything.
But what ever yo.

Decreasing lance angle only encourgaed cowardly lancer cav to backstab more and more.
With the rareity of arabians these days the QQ about rediculously manouverable horses has dropped off.
As 2h cav its always fun to sneack up behidn lancer cav and hit them where they cant hit you, but i agree that the lancer angle is now too small.

When I see someone of GK cav with 20\0 effectiveness, I think arc is good enough.
And I see this often. Too often to be honest...
-
I think it should be increased.
However, you'll have to make a poll for the devs to take a look at it.

There are only 2 options for lance arc, the old one and this new one that's really just the couched lance arc. It's a limitation in the game mechanics that can't be fixed till WSE is fully implemented.

I see, well that is balls. Just have to wait till WSE then. The old arc was too much, but I feel that the new arc is limited as to make lancing very one dimensional. It still works but its basically a rinse and repeat operation. The people pumping high scores mostly seem to be just targeting the weak and not jousting it up.

As a cavalry player I think the lancing angle is fine now, cavalry have enough advantages it needs to have some disadvantages.

meh.. this explains why there are so many shitty bump cavs now, far more dangerous then shitty lancers, to friend and foe alike.

low turn angle for cav has made most cav just do buttlancing of unaware enemies. This leads to a high k/d because you don't fight anyone head on. I do the same, I used to fight enemies from the front, now, since outranging a 2h is based on the 2h fucking up, i usually only attack them from the back.
One other thing is that this allows archers to easily dodge my lance and then shoot me from the side once they are out of my tiny turn range. Can't wait for this to be fixed.
