I've wondered the same, cuz here are a lot of threads which are suggesting adding some stuff and people really like them (i've seen over +45) but they still don't get added.

I know that they watch these but still sometimes the same question comes up to my mind XD

the majority or suggestions are half veiled self-buff threads meaning the suggestions that arent 'balance' changes get ignored as well


on a side note here is how the most cRPG players view balance

We got an answer a loooong time ago for that one. Someone make the thing (and it's not buggy/heavy on resources) and they will consider

Heraldics are more complicated to do than simple models, if you look at most OSP's (new items) you'll see that there are very little that adds heraldic stuff, Narf Transitional heraldic armor for example, was added in the latest update of his pack, and its more complicated to get working than the non heraldic ones.

The real problem is that your suggestions have to go through the balancing team first, and those guys are lazy.
Raging about it here doesn't help; if you want something to be added you should be contacting them (either by PM or IRC).
Of course they might dislike your suggestion and reject it, but it's worth a try. They might give you constructive criticism too!
Let it be known that currently the four members of the item balancing team are Fasader (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php?action=profile;u=8), Urist (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php?action=profile;u=9), Shik (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php?action=profile;u=580) and okiN (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php?action=profile;u=225).
Like always, your best bet is contacting the guy in charge. Fasader is reportedly the "king of item balance", so talk to him first...

A better idea would be to contact Urist first not Fasader, as the King is the laziest of all of them, and Urist (at least for me) is responsive and agreeable and sane.

I made 2 requests pre-patch, 1 for improving the model of the fighting axe. And another for making archery damage dependent on the arrow. Dunno if it was intentional but the devs fulfiled them.

I'm not a dev or balancer, but I am in the beta-test room on IRC and I will say that threads from the suggestions forum are regularly linked and discussed by the devs and balancers.  Not all of them are discussed, but I think they all get looked at.

No problems with me, i wasn't trying to beat him, all i was doing here is showing to you lads approximately how Fasader looks in real life....imagine a bit elder version of that kid, with longer blond hair and some civil-war-like beard and that's about it.  :wink:

hmm well i do believe they look at them

though some that were ignored from my post BLOWS my mind away(siege is debatable i suppose but not THIS)

have you ever tried a long hafted blade on a horse?its beyond broken and i met deaf ears

people just said "no its fine" or something of that nature

PLEASE BY ALL MEANS TRY IT if you have the riding and the strength to use a hafted blade it will be obvious the first swing

^other then that they seem like they listen(though idk y they ignored something so obvious they did not even post)

I'm talking about Warcraft & Starcraft, they're widely recognized as highly balanced games....ya know Starcraft is the national sport of Korea.  Both Blizzard & Valve keep ALOT of data about games.  Win/loss rates, fight & death hotspots, map popularity just among a few

crpg siege maps wouldnt look anything remotely close to this ^^^
Only 1 map has bigger than a 10% variance swing in win/loss for the teams and thats because its a payload multimode map so doesnt really reflect accurately.

aaahh i see you ment statistics and what not. i would love it if they had them  like that and get rid of alot of siege maps its so broken it makes me  :cry

i think they have it for the k/d of weapons though i remember someone posting them in a nerf argument showing how 2h was on the top

so maybe they do?to an extent atleast

If a siege map bothers you, make a thread about it where A) you have a screenshot of it (so we all know which one you are talking about), B) tell us what is wrong with it.

Not completely sure were you should post this, scene editing might be a good place, or the server info board.

you're assuming people in charge or able to change map rotations

1) read the forums
2) care

neither of which is the case for NA official servers
