Right now I hear the NA stats for k:d tracking only includes kills and deaths on battle mode. Siege is a major legitimate game mode and a lot of players only (or mostly) play siege. Vote yes if you think siege k:d should be tracked the same as battle. Vote no if you don't. I don't know why you would vote Other...but this world is full of so many beautiful and diverse people I'm sure there is some way that someone some time will find a way to wiggle out of a yes/no vote. God bless the human race.

In siege teamplay is more important than K/D i really dont wnat to see some guys just killin peasants at walls to buff their K/D and in siege theres a lot difference between bein attacker of defender ...
So in my opinion a clear NO

Same for battle...
K/D makes a difference in both modes, but the teamplay is what counts. This is true for both game modes...
Should we not show the k/d in the scoreboard when you hit TAB then, if it doesn't matter? Why not just track what the scoreboard says?

Because the skills and fighting styles in Siege are completely different then Battle.
Siege has a lot of closed in spaces which favor different weapons and builds, and has more "clusterfuck" fighting which again favors different styles. In Siege you need to know how to fight in a very close tight group and avoid being ganked, where as Battle you need to be much more aware of Cavalry, archers are substantially more vulnerable, less surprised around corners, crushthrough has a much harder time operating, AGI builds are favored more and mini-duels happen far more often.
Tactics required are also radically different.
Take my 36/3 build, it always dominates on Siege, yet is a liability more often then not in Battle due to that terrible athletics and other such things.
Also, I am an elitist who thinks that getting kills in siege is substantially easier.

I often play Ladder-Peasant on Siege attackers and don't want the miserable KDR ratio I earn to be recorded when I'm just trying to do the job no one else will.

Siege is too easy to get kills on. Defender? just sit on top of a ladder with a maul or in a doorway and boom 20:4 easy. That and most people wont defend the flag if it means rapid death :P
Siege is full of people who just retired. newbs who want to practice more often and a few good guys :P unless your obsessed with your kdr why would you need it 8-)

Sounds like a battle mode ranged fighter.

I am totally in for removing the KD whatsoever ingame, and better implement some Win:Loss ration :mrgreen:
