Regarding the author of this thread. My name is Khorin and I wrote down the history of this young strapping fine ninja and I believe that his history might put this thread in to perspective. Here you go:
(feel free to laugh at Torak, the greatest nub I've ever seen)
My official title in the Ninja Clan is Keeper of Traditions, so I felt it necessary to write a chronicle about one of our most celebrated leaders. I hope you enjoy.
Our Torak: A Hero in the Making
Prologue:
Torak, our esteemed leader, has been a part of the clan for well over a year now. I am proud to say that I'm his mentor. :')
However, there's a side of Torak, that some of you might not know. And some of you have forgotten. The purpose of this post is to take you on a journey. A journey to see how our beloved Torak has developed during this past year.
Torak started playing some time in early January 2011, and even then he was a curious little boy filled with wonder and questions about his newfound passion. The earliest recording of Torak goes back to January 8. It's a topic titled "Twohanded is so unrealistic". Enjoy:

Now you might consider this humorous, but we were all like him once, weren't we?(No we were not, thank God for that)
Despite his early troubles with the game, Torak bravely trodded onwards in his journey that would ultimately end in a seat in the Ninja Triumvirate.
The next few recorded posts by Torak were within a few hours after that, where he rambled on about his problems with the upkeep:

Apparently, the concerns were well-founded, since he seemed to be losing gold when he wasn't even playing. A shocking revelation that was soon hushed up by the community and/or devs.
The next day Torak pondered on his own mortality when he learned how old he was. This led to numerous concerns, the largest of which was:

Still. Torak pushed onwards against the unknown showing the strength of character that would one day burst out like a butterfly out of its coccoon.
After realizing his own mortality, Torak felt the need to improve his chances of survival. He went through a phase that many of us recognize during our tweens. The experimental archer phase:

Eventually he realized, that not even archery(70 wpf!!) would save him from his age, so he gave it up in the end. (I can only assume he went through a 12-step programme)
Nothing would stop our Torak in his march to glory.
A few days later Torak went through his college strat-curious phase:

Needless to say(if you look at the replies) it failed, yet Torak shrugged off all criticism and plodded onwards on his god-given path.
After this Torak's life reached a milestone. He discovered a group of shadowy figures and decided that he wanted to be like them. It consumed his thoughts for the next two hours until he applied:

2 hours later

To Torak's great surprise, he was accepted. Finally something going his way! Torak decided that he was not going to waste this opportunity. He knew he was destined for greatness. Torak realized that to do this, he needed help. Someone to support him through his hours of need. So unlike many that go silent, Torak raised his voice and bravely cried help:
"i use the katana have bow skill but can't use it befor the black hood bambospear snowflakes im a hybrid on archer and trower but mainly a archer
Tnx 4 the add"

Thomek's Reply:
"ok, so if you seek further advice and knowledge I appoint Khorin/keyoke as your mentor.
Follow Khorin on the battlefield, and observe how he plays. Direct questions to him or these forums.
Now be a good student!"
Thomek obviously didn't want anything to do with Torak.

In the first spoiler Torak reveals that he is a master of archery, throwing, piking and 2-handed on his character. This turned out to be a turning point in Torak's life. He was assigned to me, a fresh Black Hood with hopes of teaching the next generation his tricks. And that I did, and committed 6 months to preparing Torak.
He even offered us a first glimpse in to his strategic mind:
Thread: Strategy on two maps
Post: The first one is on ruined fort
