Title: Game keeps crashing

Hello,

So while in the beginning C-RPG used to work fine the past few days I am having problems.

While playing Siege when the map is about to change (after the round has finished) I hear a "twing" noise and the game crashes throwing me at windows.

This was a very annoying problem (especially when you lose a 3x-4x-5x multiplier due to it) but not a HUGE deal.

But now its become worse... as I try to join a server the game makes that sound and crashes!!!

The windows error message is a runtime error and then when the m&b error appears I get the below:

I have downloaded the latest file for C-rpg from the announcements subforum and I am running 0.241 (though for some reason on the starting screen where it tells me the version it says 0.240).

Are there any known issues about particular video settings like resolution or something?

Try deleting your c-RPG folder and reinstalling the mod. Maybe some of your mods are outdated (yellow arrow mod, sound mod, ...), causing cRPG to crash.

Funfact. There are two links in the "0.241" thread. One is a FULL install and one is a PATCH for the 0.240 version. Many people download both and then apply the patch to the fully updated version.

Don't do that.

If that's not the problem then please tell.

Nop it wasnt that.

I uninstalled everything (including Warbands), deleted ALL files (including saves, profiles etc) and re-installed everything.

I had the correct file, the 180MB one (in rar format).

So now I dont get it as much but it STILL happens. Generally this happens when I join a game or when the game changes maps! Its not something that just happens while in the game at a random spot only at map change.

For some reason it happens more often in Siege rather than in Battle (though it does happen in battle as well).

I am really at a loss at what is going on but its becoming more and more annoying as now that I am above level 26 losing that x 5 modifier for money and XP is a real pain...

What is WSE loader?

Also just as an update...

Game has stopped crashing in Battle... occasionally it still does (as always on map change) but not as often.

In Siege its the same... as soon as the game changes maps... it crashes...

I wonder how the game type can have an impact... its really really weird...
