Title: Katanas should cut through walls

Everyone knows katanas are the best weapon in history and they can cut through anything.  Also, because they are made out of adamantium everyone knows that they are the fastest and lightest weapons on earth.  They should not get caught on scenery and walls because they can easily cut through stone and wood of all types.

Please also add shield breaking ability, to show how katanas are the supreme cutting devastators of the medieval world and can cut through any conceivable material that a shield might be made out of.  Unless the shield is also made of adamantium.  In that case the katana won't have shield breaking ability, but can still break the shield because although they are both made out of adamantium, the shield is not a katana and therefore cannot withstand the force of a katana.

Also, please change katana damage to piercing damage.  This will accurately signify the the devastating armor-cutting qualities of a katana blade.  My friend had a katana from Japan and my other friend had a car once and the first friend accidently dropped the katana on the other friends car and then the blade happened to be facing down so when he dropped it fell on the hood of the car and sliced through the hood and the engine and all the way down through the front tire and got stuck in the road.  And that was just from dropping it so imagine if it was swung!  We were all like OMG WTF and then we ran away.

So from realism this makes total sense, dont' hate!

Also add knockdown, crushthrough, and give it a secondary ranged mode to shoot laser beams.

You can safely add crushthrough without making it overpowered. It's 1.3 weight.

Oh I forgot to mention that it should be able to deflect arrows and kill the ones that fired the arrows with their own arrows. This should happen automatically cause ninjas didn't even have to try to do this. It says so right here http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%BF%8D%E8%80%85

Oh yeah, I support that idea!

The range mode should be like a boomerang so it always comes back :)

And please make it 0 slot so I can use one with my archer :mrgreen:

No, everyone knows that katana's can't deflect arrows that's a total myth LOL..you been watching too much anime.

Katanas can only cut arrows in half as they come toward the wielder, not deflect them...unless an enemy is standing right next to the katana wielder, then they may get hit with 1/2 of the arrow that was split and went flying to the sides that's all.  So 1/2 arrow damage then...stop trying to make it OP or no one will listen!!!

Did not watch it, but likely the video of an old sword master having his daughter shoot an arrow at him. He is kneeling, very calm, concentrating, and intercepts and cuts the arrow in half unharmed.

Not viable in combat.

It was a guy hitting a BB Gun pellet with his katana when it was fired at him^^

A little thing that is not even as big as the tip of an arrow.
So I want katana to do that as well if it shall cut through walls etc :O

That's so fake only katanas can cut arrows and armors, shields, and oxen yoke.  BB guns weren't even invented in crpg times your argument is so invalid.  Next time I'm by your house and I have a katana I'll drop it on your roof and accidently the whole house so you don't even know what happened and you freak out and run away.

I read that wiki page. Said nothing about any ability to deflect arrows. So I added it in.

Katanas couldnt even go thru full plate, why it could go thru buildings and stone?!?! It was all about fighting technique, acctualy they were shit, because made from shitty iron, Europeans had better, so longsword wins!
