Title: So I am making a 2h class...

Here is my build(When finished)

15 Str
25 Agi

All points into PS/ATH/WM

Should I use light armor or is it preferable to still use a medium type? I am wondering if the difference is such that it will make a drastic affect on my movement speed if I use a heavier armor? Thanks for the time everyone!

EDIT: I am looking to be an absolute fast berserk, run in hit people hard and die. Not really into the uber ninja thing :)

Well, if you really want a build like this, get medium armor. With 1 IF you'll be quite an easy kill, you should get IF too.
I think you should get 18 STR for 6PS/6IF, then put the rest to agility.

Yeah, 18/21 at level 31 with 6 skill points converted

4 or 6 IF depends on if you want shield skill or not

7AT
7WM

Those ninjas go for 15/24 or as pure 2h even 15/27 without IF

Convert rest of skill points

Is my build of choice.  If you don't want to go throwing I would convert those 6 PT to 3 stat points tbh rather than IF.  Either for a 24 agi for faster swing/movement (with 1 or two points from wm spent in athletics) or 21 str for 7 PS.  Unless you're going to wear heavy heavy armor, IF seems to be a waste to me.  In plate those pure str guys take a bit more punishment, but when they're in medium armor or less I 1-2 shot them like agi builds so, meh.  You don't really need more than 150 wpf (hell even 130 seems to be ok) so wouldn't bother pumping WM if you're going to be a "pure" 2her past what you need to hit 150.

Well, any amount of extra WPF helps... but Gorath's build is probably the most powerful one currently.

Though if you're a manly man, you'll go 18/21, pure 2her.

Interesting description.  I like.

However I view it as such:

Pure build:

Hybrid:
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Anyways, here's a pure 2her build for ya:

Horse Archery: 0
Power Draw: 0
Power Throw: 0
Weapon Master: 8

One Handed: 1
Two Handed: 173
Polearm: 1
Archery: 1
Crossbow: 1
Throwing: 1


Add spamtana, or lolsword and run figure 8 patterns spamming right swings or lolstabs respectively.

The hybrid in your picture needs to cover his nose, a'cuz he 1) crapped his pants when he saw the pure 2her and 2) just generally smells.

'Nyways, I'd recommend going at least 18 str. I found that, after retiring, way too many of my blows glanced/did too little damage at PS5.

The irony is that you used a picture of Conan, who in the books used a bow AND threw weapons quite often.  Indeed he is quite a good representation of the M&B hybrid character.   :mrgreen:

*Pure (insert random melee weapon choice here) don't exist outside BAD RPG's.  Why?  Cause it's counterintuitive to the nature of warriors and potential of humans.  Even in almost every work of literature involving melee/medieval/etc combat the "warriors" almost always use more than one weapon at some point in the story;  be it throwing something, shooting a bow, picking up a spear/axe/sword/flail, etc.   :wink:*

But, m'son, that's why I did not say that Conan is a good representation of a pure 2her. No sir, I simply showed a picture, which just happens to be Conan when he's feeling manly. His womanly feelings later take over and he becomes a throwmy old friend. But hey, what can you do. With old age the testosterone levels drop, etc etc.

Conan? He is a 1h/2h/arch/pole/throw hybrid he is so awesome you look like a peasant to him trying to compare your potato with his balls!

Refering to age you're wrong Gorath, take Cohen for example the greatest hero of discworld. He is above 70 and uses a 2h sword only!

is 15STR / 27 AGi possible? can some 1 work it out for me? i cant do it lol. like how many attributes need to be converted and the result of WM/PS/IF/ATH.
