Playing all the time is only fun for a while, in the end is it all waste i realised that (Thank you Bjord) im gonna give my heirlooms to Quantum and T-Bag.
leaving my lvl 33 (close to 34) is a shame ofc, but i wanna get back to IRL world, u are all cool guys i never had something against any clans not even risen, i just troll very badly .
See you all, maybe will i come back someday! :)
and btw, im gonna take torben with me MUHAHAHHA

You will be missed, but it's a good thing to get your shit together IRL.
Had fun playing with you though.

How the hell did Bjord make you realize that youve been spending too much time with gaming? :D

See you in a week.
That normally would work, but after speaking with him on steam, this time I think he will fully quit, very unfortunate to lose such a good agi whore player.
-
Enjoy the fresh air.
-
YES finally!

I miss Bjord :/

Why do people think gaming and having a life have to be mutually exclusive?

Yeah i always wondered the same. Its just a hobby like everything else. You have to be rly rly rly addicted to actually cut out the irl social life.

Bye Phase!
i've been gone for a while now as well and most likely wont come back to cRPG for a while!
-
Ze drama! I would liek to know why Bjord got u to quit!
-
can I have your gold and looms?

Thing is with a reflex skill heavy game like Mount and Blade, it takes a fair bit of time to maintain a high level of aptitude like Phase and Bjord. It adds up. Also farewell Phase, you are making a good decision.

You know, you can just play for fun, you don't actually have to spend hours per day to keep your "skill high". If you don't mind being beaten by (some) no lifers, casual gaming is quite a good thing.
-
So long dear homonym. Good luck out there... :D
-
From me too. And i think cRPG only will be bored when you never reset or respec than you allways do the same. Wenn you reset on lvl 31 all the time it will be cooler!
So again: have fun outside!

Lol, not really. Once you get good, you don't need to "upkeep" it... at most 15 mins warm up after a long pause will bring it all back.
-
Will miss ya, matey, always enjoyed seeing you slaughter about 9 people at the end of a round when you're the last guy left. Happy trails. <=)

Once you go cRPG you never go back

Once you go cRPG you never go back
I´ts all part of chadz´s evil plan.
-
Once you go cRPG you never go back
Definetly not true. The real reason is that Phase has a attention deficit.
-
Could have looked at the post above yours.
I looked already and continued so what? Stop bothering me.

So you're stupid saying "good luck IRL" when Dramaqueen_Phase is playing again.
-
He's like DaveUKR.
Saw him around a few days ago too.

See you in a week.
This. Everybody has ups and downs with hobbies.

I wanted to continue drama so what?
You are stupid and a trol.

You will be back, it wont be long untill you have trouble sleeping because you havent slaughtered enough peasants! There is no leaving cRPG, atleast it is very rare. Also playing cRPG doesnt mean you cant do stuff irl, not saying i do but you dont have to quit cRPG alltogether, maybe just for a few weeks.
Too bad another good player is leaving, less competition :/

People keep missing the post where it says he's playing again :P
-
C'mon, people have the right to pull a DaveUSSR whenever they feel like it.
-
See you in a week.
This guy was so right!
-
Give your looms to someone who needs em! There are plenty of poor and destitute out there who are in need.
-
What if the topics gets locked? Maybe it will go away and take phase with it.
-
Phaze is such a pain in his mom's ass to fight he really should quit for her health.

Yeah i always wondered the same. Its just a hobby like everything else. You have to be rly rly rly addicted to actually cut out the irl social life.
because hardcore gaming needs a lot of time. And among the best players out there (you, bjord, phyrex, etc...) you need really a lot of time OR really a lot of talent... at least since you get so comfortable in a game, that you can take a month break and come back at the same skill level.
i play maybe twice per month now, but i noticed i can still say my word in a duel or in a siege... but not even near to the days i was playing a lot.
so, often casual gaming is average gaming while addicted gaming is often hardcore/pro/elite gaming.
an example in warband could be those guys having the same char, the same build, the same gear for an entire year, playing and dueling with it for that much time... sooner or later you'll get to the top.
-
Not that hard to find time for RL and to play, even tho i understand point of the OP :)
Was hardcore gaming for over 7 years, but that is way over me now, now i spend time with friends, socialize or how is that called, do sports, sleep, concerts, i do even have a job. Finding the balance in real life vs. gaming is all about you not feeling like idiot for spending time ingame
-
a happy phase is what we all want ^_^
GG
</3
now gimme me my sword back and gtfo you kung fu biatch =P
-
Leoking should go to the real world too.
-
Why do people think gaming and having a life have to be mutually exclusive?
Laws of physics.
-
I go to work in the day (Thats if I had a job). See friends after and play late afternoon or evening.
Is it that hard to do?
-

i work 9 hours per day, at lunch time i have to cook for me, my daughter, my wife and feed the dog. at dinner, i stay with my daughter and my wife, in the evening i stay with em till they go asleep, then maybe from eleven to one past midnight i have time to play... if i don't fell asleep too.
one year and half ago, i had plenty of time to play... now i don't and the skill is going slowly down... especially chambers and stuff you need to be used and trained to do.
So, yes is hard to do if you plan to stay on par with the best players.
-
Sounds like slavery!
-
Damn, I thought Xant was leaving.
-
In Soviet Russia, dinner cook wife for you!

It's worse when you are a lance cav. 80% of the skill is "rule of thumb" timing and distance estimating. Even when I only don't play for one day I need to spend a couple of rounds to get the timing right again.
Things like blocking and feinting are more yes/no decisions and therefore seem to stay intact for a longer time.
Also, pizza delivery men are the greatest allies of game addicts.
-
Pizza delivery is expensive these days...
-
Having to go out to buy food to cook is my real life's greatest ally.

What be foe and what be the foe's foe?

that's correct. but chambers and perfect swing distance, footwork, kicking, fast hiltslashes, are all things needed to kept trained. i agree about blocking and feinting but those are the fundamentals so obviously once you have em, you're ok.

There's nothing sexual about it...

noooooo don't leave crpg, n-oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
