It'd be fun if it could be set as incredibly slow acting. Not Instant DPS like WoW but more "fatal" poison that gives you a random number of minutes left to live if you get stabbed. The number would have to be reasonably high (i'd say randomly between 2 and 4 minutes) and if the round ended before the poison took effect the character would effectively have found the "antidote" and survive.
Perhaps this would be better suited for one of the more objective based gametypes, like the new stronghold. Should also consider making poison a high-skill addition that can only be used on daggers and then only without the shield.

well finding the antidote after the match on the fuckers corpse makes sense to me(the guy would be stupid enough to carry it with him)
