Title: Upkeep price sucks

Im new to this game but i talked to many players who besides the fact that they agree the upkeep price is ridiculous they also sugested the best way to NOT LOOSE money but it doesnt work. im lvl 27 and i loose 300-1000 gold each match despite the fact my gear todaly sucks. if i cant make money not even with 17000 worth of equipment how can i ever play this game? in two days ill be broke. cant you at least lower the cost. i should be able to play with beter gear than robe staff and no helmet. this doesnt make the game neither fun nor interesting. my gear must suck both in stats and aspect???

Cry about it, like I've posted IN YOUR SECOND THREAD ABOUT THE SAME THING.

I've been running around in full plate with a longsword with 103 wpf and I break even and more often than not GAIN money.

I use 42,000 worth of equipment and I still make a bit of money.

Are you an archer?

I dont seem to have problems with my 23K equiped 2h.  But with my 13k equiped archer I bleed money.

Arrows break near every round.  And at 350 something a piece thats a lose about 4/5 rounds of 700g.  Now factor in a longbow breaking ever 1/5 rounds for 700g as well.  Its normal for me to just bleed money.  I constantly find myself just playing with a dagger till I get to 5kg, then start archering again. (BTW im at 163 WPF).

If your playing melee I have no idea, it shouldnt be that bad.  If your an archer, just get a big reserve or only use bow when you got atleast x3 or x4.

I've been playing with 27k worth of gear and making pretty good money. 

Sometimes you have  a bad streak, but it will even out.  Give it time.

So, umm, what are you wearing?

Do you switch weapons and gear a lot during a map, use a horse, etc?  Even with long periods of x1 you should be gradually making money if you're a melee fighter and using under 20k of gear.

Higher WPF also lowers the chance of a weapon breaking...it's really not that bad, I generally sport around 30k Gear and make small amounts of money.
