Title: Recoloring old armors?
Post by: Jacko on October 06, 2011, 11:58:10 pm
Would is be possible to add something similar to cRPG? I can imagine, especially in strat, that this would be awesome.

Of course not to every armor, but to those that would be fitting (like padded armors and other armor with a lot of cloth in them). On a side note: we are really missing some mid tier armor that could fill this potential niche.

Heraldry was for nobility really. The common soldier used whatever was possible. They could wrap cloth around there heads, or hay, twigs, anything really just so that you could distinguish friend from foe. We have symbols, but it can still get pretty damn messy in a melee fight. Coloring stuff like this is "simple" enough.

I would love a complete retexture of most of the native ported items but a lot of work :( so I can only dream I guess.
