Would it be possible for the dev team to put up a list of gear that they are looking for or new skins for exsisting items.
I'm keen to knock together some Ashigaru armour with the banner flag out the back, a Ronin Kimono, white monk kimono armour, sandles and a Naginata (the hefted blade is close but I was looking for something with a longer blade and a bit more japaneseee). Which should take me a million years. It would be cool however to know what the devs are after so that people make stuff that's actualy going to be used and of some use.

Good idea, in the sense that there should probably be a sticky post somewhere that says "THESE ARE THE PARAMETERS OF WHAT WE WANT IN ARTWORK".
I think the specification is that they want things associated with a particular period.... 12th-16th century? Something like that? I know there seems to be opposition to 17th century stuff but I'm not sure about, say, Roman gear. They may be excluding Roman simply because nobody has delivered a good model set for it. Or maybe it's too early. I dunno.
I'm sure there would be interest in more Asian gear, if it was from the appropriate time period and fit whatever design parameters there are.

Afaik, eastern-asian gear is not really wanted. Not 100% sure though

go to hell with your asian armor, there's a game call shogun , go play than

We already have some Japanese armour and a number of Japanese weapons. I'm just throwing my hat in the ring to make some light armour and some other crap, like sandals and a Gunbai.

I'd love to see more European armour AND Asian armour.

I like new content generally.

Yeah, such a list would be awesome.
If there will be a list, it should have notes about balancing issues, I'd say.
Like in my sneaky suggestion:
/neonlight
norse round shields! BIG ones, like they have it in Vikingr. (huscarl is not the real deal)
I think the big problem about these is the balancing? Actually it's not, make them break easy and make 'em heavy. that'll do for balancing price and size.
I'd even give myself to model some, if I can spare some precious time.

Add this as a new model for the long arming sword, the size was changed, it is now the same as the LAS, its got some nice LODs and a sheat, what more do you want.

Just don't play for a week or 2 and donate your time to people that will spit rage in your face about your giant shield, and then hate you forever. Isn't love grand.

Nice sword.
I was thinking the other day about le equus africanus asinuss +4 looming remark and thought that it would be cool if it did happen that +4 loomed item had different modles, and weapon shieths. But its just guilding the lilly.
lol don key gets corrected to its proper scientific name, HA!

I demand a Zulu shield and African tribal style gear with very low strength requirement. (Who are we kidding, they're certainly not muscular... lol)

what exactly were you trying to say?
you think i played just 2 weeks? and that there are people who don't like big shields i reckon.
... so what?
i don't think the size of a shield is reason enough for shielders to win over others.
circle him, break his shield, team him. also big shields always get much attention in battle, from all sites.
chosing a shield as big as a norse shield, which breaks easy, is filling two slots and is heavy as shit, is pretty much just a visual decision.

Pirate armour and a heraldic gambeson. that is all.

Celtic/Germanic shields.
