Title: WTF with this gear cost

Can anyone explain to me why equipments with 8 defense, cost more than light strange armor? O_O

Some pretty stuff costs more then normal stuff. Case in point, compare hourglass gauntlets with gilded hourglass gauntlets.

If you are like me and make 30-40k a day you wear them and flaunt your wealth. If you are the masses who are poor, then you look on with envy and say it makes no sense.

Still makes no sense to me that this armor cost 3018. I was using this because is ugly and fits pretty well with my character face O_O

Cost almost like a lamellar vest with -28 armor O_O

It's a nobleman's outfit... vs some peasant armour.

Best thing that happened when the prices of these items got increased was that a mate of mine got one of these when he was a peasant, two days later he sold it at a massive price, kick started his cRPG career quite effectively actually!  :rolleyes:

Yeah I got one of them as my STF alt, I find it a bit weird a character would start with that... unless it's a way to make noblemen in Calradia!
