Best gauntlets to loom?
-
Scale, not to heavy, not to light...juuuuust right
-
I prefer mail gauntlets. Cheap, .5 weight (so usable from archer up), provides 13 armor (1 more than heaviest non-loomed gaunts) when masterworked.
I masterworked them 2 gens ago and haven't taken them off since.
-
wisbys have the best price/armor protection ratio imo(4.5k compared to +2k for 1 more armor on the scale/lamellar ones), I chosed the wisby too when deciding which gauntlets to loom
-
I have x3 scale gaunts and x3 scale armour perfect if you like the look.
-
I like the hourglass. A little heavy but they work with almost every build I do and the armour they give is pretty swag.
-
if you dont want spend a lot of money on repairs, like me - then mail gauntlets are fine 8-)
-
ya imo scale is just a tad too exspensive. id go with mail gaunts or wisbys
-
Plate. Mittens.
Depends on your build though!!!
-
I agree with scale. It's light enough to keep wearing if you ever switch to an archer but heavy enough to go well with a good banded armor suit.
-
I like having the wisby's (red, personally) heirloomed.
-
I loomed my Mail Mittens... to use as an archer. Is so cheap. :)
-
went with the scale just cause I like the look and price.

Got Mail Gauntlets. Cheap and effective.
