Title: wtf? some kind of water hack?

so we got a sandstorm and i am deep down in the water after evading a few archers and the keep shooting at me as if hey could see me.  whats up with that?

They logged in during later round? Sometimes weather changes if you just leave server and then come back.

It doesn't matter, bubble always come on top no matter how deep you are, I believe.

yeah but bubbles dont indicate how deep i am,  i.e.  an archer shouldnt be able to spam my shield with arrows.  every shot was spot on.

I had this several times as well.
I think they use the dx7 mode, which has no water reflection.

I don't know about this, but as part-time xbow I can say, that the bubbles are a pretty nice and accurate target if you've got at least a bit of an idea how deep the water is. Since you are slow down there and can't swim in different highs. So, don't try to evade archers by swimming.

But another thing - how about implementing drowning and arrows not beeing able to break the water surface (or some kind of that, since the water would acctually slow down the arrow pretty much).

Naa, there were some places where it was really really deep and still i got shot quite accurately.
I would have expected some misses here.

Its pretty easy to see into the water in dx7
