Title: Arrow release delay

Take it away.

A delay was added to the animation to slow down the draw. It has succeeded. It can stay.

What Im talking about is once my crosshairs appear, I should be able to release that arrow even if my reticule is 10 miles wide. I don't care if it can go anywhere on my screen at that time, because Im trying to hit the guy filling my entire screen anyhow.
There is a delay still where your crosshairs have to shrink down first before you release. It's too much NERFBAT. Archers already can no longer kite, so at LEAST bring back the point blank range shot  :rolleyes:

How about we put in a delay when you left click your sword so that you can't swing until an unseen timer expires? That would be about right then?

If you want to do close range, then use melee. Ranged weapons are meant to take out people from a distance, not right in your face

No. When an archer draws their bow, and a melee pops out from behind a tree 5 feet away, they should be able to release their arrow into the enemy's face. There is already a draw delay to keep archers from being able to kite melee around. Not being able to release the arrow is a crap mechanic put in place to address a problem that does NOT exist.

Since ranged weapons are not meant to be used in your face, I suggest you add a "bounce" effect to all thrown weapons within 10 feet. I also suggest that all thrown weapons receive this same 2 second delay from the time their reticules appear until they can actually release their rock.

The new animation has something the old one didn't have.

Now you can start the animation while hiding moving in the open and the reticule would be normal as if you did it all while standing still, before if you did this the reticule would be big and you would have to redo it again.
