Original Bibles said "thou shall not Murder" it said nothing about "thou shall not kill" that only came into place around the same time the New King James version rewrote stuff, like changing "and then men shall become like gods" into "and then men shall become like angels" and so on so forth.
Original crusades were also supposedly justified because supposedly God ordered the crusades... Again the bible supports actions if ordered by god to do weird stuff not normally allowed.
