Force first person, get rid of ~ function. Enough said I should think.

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Don't forget to add using your hands to control a real bow, and your feet to actually walk.

I believe there should be separate functions to control your feet, arms and head, to be honest. Realistically i can angle my legs, torso, and head so why not in game. This should be simple to code, i'm not sure why it's not in the game already.

Actually, force closest 3rd person view. That would be realistic.

would be nice to run a test server to try this out some.
at least get rid of the use of ~ key

Why? :(

yes pls, its only fair.

Clearly peripheral vision is unheard of in the land of Calradia, where everyone sees no more then a 70 degree cone.
-
Force first person only if you can fix the shitty fucking FOV.
-
Wider FOV please.

What ?
Everyone can see 360°, without even moving the head.
-
Wider FOV, force first person, you won't se me whine :P

Yeah, you can TURN your head 360°, but you can still only SEE 70° when in 1st person. 3rd person is closer to the sight that humans actually have.

I DEMAND GTA 2 VIEW

cg_fov 180

Nah, he just uses a mirror in front of him, can see right around him then, all 360 degrees! 8)

I only play 1st person anyway. Whether it's my HA, 2h, shielder, archer or xbowman.
To be honest changing the FOV doesn't make as big of a difference as some people seem to make out. You can do it in many games manually and others have an option in game and the difference isn't all that noticeable when you are actually playing.
So yeah...I'd like to see forced 1st person.

Try playing quake without at least 120 fov, against someone that knows how to play, you'll get schooled. 3rd person view in warband is about the same as in real life. For balance purposes I wouldn't mind changing it, tho I really don't see the point, but don't come calling the current one "unrealistic".
Now, blurring the edges, that would be a whole other story..

If you want to force this game into a first person game you have to change alot about the angle you can view. Usually a person can see more than whats happening infront of him.
And actually I love seeing my character acting, so NO
