So was wondering does any one have any experience of how it works and I'd appreciate it if you post a good build for it. There was no topics about this within 20 pages so I guess 2h/cav ain't so popular. :|

Well, i have more less 2h/polearm build. I use lance for backstabing and getting rid of pesky tin cans whereas 2h from horseback is perfecto forcav vs inf duels and town fighting. Here's my build at lvl 31:
Strength 18
Agility 21
Weapon proficiency
Two Handed 150 10 points per wpf
Polearm 90 4 points per wpf
Skills
Available points: 0
Iron Flesh 0 3 strength per level
Power Strike 6 3 strength per level
Athletics 6 3 agility per level
Riding 7 3 agility per level
Weapon Master 7 3 agility per level
The weapons i use while on horseback are either longsword or morningstar.
The horseys prefered are arabian warhorse and charger/cataphract. (no mamluk because of it's high price).
What you could do if you want a pure 2h get rid of these polearm points and put them into 2h
OR
go for 21/18 build and put points into PS and AGI/IF but this will cost you 1 valuable point of horseriding.
After getting dismounted youre a perfect killing machine, youre still a 2h!
Many people get at me couse of lack of IF but my ideology is: know your manual block and avoid arrows, voila!

But you don't really need more than 5 riding, eh? Since you can use those bigger horses. And 6 athletics really necessary?
-
Well, riding is a very precious skill. Using a rouncey with 5 skill even a charger can get you if his rider has 7 points. Agi is when dismounted but you sure can take away couple points from it and put them into IF.

I find IF useless since it only adds 2 hp per IF point, so I will stick with athletics.
So let me get this straight, riding skill increases your speed on horse too? Like in single player?
-
Riding increases riding speed but aswell acceleration and maneuver. I repeat, this is invaluable skill for pro riders.
-
Oky, thanks.
-
Longsword does, in fact, use 2h WPF when used without a shield on horseback, right? I had someone tell me it uses 1h proficiency, but am unsure.
-
Longsword uses 2h WPF from horseback without shield.
-
thanks man, good to know

bad builds, don't use weapon master its bad skill, im 21/21 with 7 ps 7 riding and 3 shield just because i avoided weapon master, still have 110 wpf in polearms, fight with 0 wpf 1hander as infantry and do fine, its no big deal
if you want to be good infantry 2 hander and cav just do something like 24/15 and you can have 5 athletics, 5 riding, and 8 ps and some leftover points for shield or IF and be OK
Something like this if you want to lance and use a 2 hander
Strength: 24
Agility: 15
Hit points: 69
Skills to attributes: 8
Ironflesh: 5
Power Strike: 8
Shield: 0
Athletics: 5
Riding: 5
Horse Archery: 0
Power Draw: 0
Power Throw: 0
Weapon Master: 0
Two Handed: 111
Don't need polearm WPF to lance. Weapon master is bad.

Cool deal. A build I've found phenominal, though I'm a first time cav player. Use a lance, for the love of god. I'm just using 2h for style purposes, and no shield because I'm mentally ill, but:
Str: 18
Agi: 24
6 PS
8 Riding
3 points left over for SHIELD***, Athletics**, or Ironflesh**.
I chose athletics, to move around a little better once I'm dethroned, and with 24 agi, you'll move pretty quick. Smart money on shield if you're a lancer, or use your sword with a shield with 1h wpf.
Smoothrich is right about weaponmaster, it doesn't do much for you. You're really just relying on timing and velocity. The difference between 6 and 8 riding is awesome, but as long as you can ride your horse, you'll put in work. 21/15 or 24/15 would work wonders. Even try 15/24 or 15/27 if you want.

I think on my 3rd gen I did this at 24/15 with 3 athletics and 5 riding, 8 PS, and I can't really remember what I did with the other ones but that was probably the build I did best with.
