No double headed axe? Also problem is that we dont have a bouncing mechanic that would make those throwing axes such as fransisca even nastier.

Items looks good, but I dont think we need another knife or super fast 1h in the game=P

I like those armors more.. but those helmets are much superior to the recent stuff that has been added, too.

Sadly this is a Vikingr helmet and I think they said Vikingr didn't allow them to use any of their items :( but maybe some cool guy out there can make something similar without gimmick infringement.

As a Nord myself, I feel we're already properly represented in cRPG....no reason to be adding more frivolous stuff.  Roman armors are what should be added

I disagree, the models are kinda shitty and now that vikingr items are free I see no reason to not replace the current ones with stuff from their mod considering the quality is a lot higher.

The equipment you want to see in cRPG is very beautiful.  It's realistic and suitable to Nordmens and all the vikings playing this mod.
All the elements are looking better than these which we're playing every day.  :)

I fell in love with sami knife. I really would like to cut bread using it. Well cut bread is good looking with a butter on it.  :D

I am down for the knife (dagger) if it means we can get a high tier knife/dagger finally added to the game.
of course, beautiful helmets & axes.

I'm still holding out for a high tier stiletto with 34 pierce thrust, no blocking, and low dmg side swings.
Can't find a model anywhere though.

I think devs said at some point that there're not gonna be roman armors all though those armors got some serious support =D    but then again i might be wrong which is more likely to be true XD but still there're not so many viking helmets, the best one is nordic warlords helmet and it weights 2.8 and has 48 armor.

So here're my suggestions to the VIKING HELMET stats:
weight: 3
head armor: 50-52 (rather 52 cuz it's still full face cover)
difficulty: 14
Cost: 5 645-6 350

Word "Sami" is only political bullshit invented in the 60's to discriminate people who live in Lapland and are not registered to "sami register" (which is ridicilous system believe me, I should know). Otherwise it can only approved.

That "Viking Helmet" Wiltsu most likely talks about... Hmm it is pretty but I don't like it. Too "fabulous" to my taste :D. And historical accuracy? I don't think so. Why not add a viking helmet with horns? Removable horns- helmet! You could remove one, drink mead from it and with other one blow some sounds :D

I'd give half my nutsack to have the GLA with one of those models instead. Looks so much more like a proper axe! And also, that helmet = sex.

Also, I think you are a little bit of a misguided anti-race extremist. Lapland is named after people who used to be called Lapps but call themselves Sami and are not only found in Lapland.

Dude don't start this with me. I've fucking lived almost my whole life in Enontekiö and I tell you that some of them (sami people who are lobbying for ILO- contract etc..) are full of shit even if they are the the native people which is somewhat right, but the definition of who is sami and who is not is complete and utter bullshit like all the other politics considering the whole subject. But I would like to tell you about the difference between term "Lapp" and "Sami". Term "Lapp" used to mean any man who was a reindeer herder. There never was any description about some race. Later when term "Sami" was introduced it became a racial matter. Before that "Lapp" only meaned someone who lived by reindeer herding and was living and moving constantly with reindeers. That culture doesn't exist anymore. Everyone has motorized vehicles to do the old job which required living and moving constantly with the mob of reindeers. Nowadays every one of them has their own house which wasn't the case before. The languague and other cultural things are surviving well and there is no need to do anything radical law-wise. There is just this small but noisy group of them wanting more power. Land ownership is one thing they are after. And rights to use anyone's lands like they please. I'm strictly against it. So this all started by you having some issues with sami ppl and you not liking the name of the knife. Man trust me I know about sami ppl's history (been there hiking/museoums/sami crurch, even visited norways sami places and so on...(rippileirillä tuli käytyä.. xD)) and I assume you live in Finland like me. There're a lot of knives called "Sami Knives" and as you say you live/lived in Enontekiö you really should know this... Sami knives are handcrafted, same as your and my grandparents would've craft or got as some sort of gifts on their wedding day and so on. But well a lot of ppl just generalize them as the name "Sami Knife", pretty much because there's not any "actual/real/true" name for the knives that've been handcrafted in the northern areas. I haven't ever heard a finnish man/sami dude calling them as "sami knives", BUT I've heard two swedish people calling them as "sami knives" and one italian guy, so well probably foreigners use the name more often than actual finns/sami do.

But yeah we're cool and so on, just let the name be Sami Knife, much more easier than the one you suggested and at least it's not mora XDD and dude take it easy I'm not attacking you or anything =D

Sorry Wiltsu xD. I pretty much had a good rant after I saw your post :). Yeah they probably teach in schools many kind of stuff... Sorry I try to explain why this is sensitive subject for me. And for the record I am not pissed off at them as a whole. Only a small extremist minority inside a minority :D (If sami people even are a minority in Enontekiö and yes they are divided in two camps when it comes to the politics of the area)

Making ILO- contract official is against our constitution. The right to own something (in this case land) and equality. You see, after the war locals were given land by the government (time before word sami and before any race thinking), it was given to the farmers to have fields and so on (hunting & fishing too) to settle population again. There was different kind of people given these ownerships. Many many families, and amongst them for sure people who are nowadays considered as sami people and they settled down to live in a house and farm some land etc.

Today some of the people in sami community think that they have the real and original right to use these old lands which have been owned by the legal heir of the generation which once got it from the government. ILO ratification would hurt the land owner's rights if it is accepted and sami register people could do as they please. (Did I mention that there is also a lot of people who are sami but not in the register and a lot of people who are DEFINETLY NOT sami but are in the register?) Maybe even all rights removed whatsoever and all that caretaking of generations is lost. There is also people who are in sami register who oppose against these kind of things. Why? You might ask. Question is simple: they own some land too ;). And ofc a big majority of sami community is just normal everyday people who don't give a shit about the subject. I don't hate them or anything and I don't have any problems with them. I even took few courses of sami languague when I was young. The noisy minority is the problem here.

You have seen sami people in some place? They get really good money for entertraining tourists. I have one friend doing that, it is pure theatre sometimes :D. Nice thing though. When it comes to sami museums... Atleast in Hetta, it has so biased view of the history that it makes me sick. It is a part of the lobbying mechanism which aims for ILO ratification and other such goals. As long as it is opposed strongly and the government goes by the book and sticks up with the constitution we should not have any problems... If not, then there is going to be BIG problems.

That is what I mean with "sami propaganda". I would rather talk about the original northern population as "Lapps". It is not dividing people to weirdass "races" or anything because the culture was never based on that kind of thinking to begin with and everyone lived in peace with each other.

Vikingr mod has a couple of lovely helmets that would really fit into the game. Can't our devs just ask for permission and take those?

The Gjermundbu helmet is supa-dupa awesome. there is a small sujestion. it is not appropriate, then nevermind
i think that the neckguard mail is too long, and thanks to its lenght there is an ugly bend
