Title: Siege Mode - Excessive CS, Ladder bug abuse etc etc
Post by: RandomDude on September 23, 2011, 12:43:10 pm
Several people have been moaning about cs with the recent patch as they can now have almost limitless cs (by building eq boxes and such i believe). I told them to make a thread but they didnt (lazy bums) so here is mine.

It IS getting a bit silly now. Its common to see 3-4 times as many cs sites as there used to be.

Ladders: Thomek and I discussed this very briefly last night - some players(defending) have started laying ladders over common attacker ladder placement spots abusing a "feature" where other ladders touching it are auto-destroyed. This doesnt happen every time but enough for some defending players to use it. I've already said in admin chat that it's bug abuse and i'm saying it here too.

Leechers: I get the feeling that some players on siege just go naked, take dagger and eq gear to "help" but also bcos siege gear is 0 upkeep. Siege gear should cost upkeep too (prices could be looked at?).

So thats it - what are people's views, opinions, is there anything i missed?

+1 for siege equipment getting repairs.
Since it gives an edge in battle, it should cost a bit to repair. But way less than the current pourcentage, imo.
