CHECK IT!
My previous char "aldogalus" is on ErniusPetergius's steam. I have a plan to swap my items over without affecting anything on Ern's char(other than his KD a bit). and was just wondering if it sounds foolish or foolproof. Rangerbob already told me i should be fine, but i just wanted some confirmation. Here lies my plan.
Step 1: Trade Ern's items to my current steam account.
Step 2: Delete Ern.
Step 3: Make aldogalus the main char on Erns acc.
Step 4: Trade the items i previously traded from Erns char back to aldogalus, and trade aldogalus's items to my new char SCRALSQUATCH.
Step 5: Change aldogalus's name to Ernius, and since Ern and Aldo are the same gen, Ern should suffer no XP loss.
Thanks to anyone who can chip a word or two in.

Just for the record, this wouldn't have worked. Alts can't be changed into mains, you can only make a new main out of a character created after you deleted your old one, so steps 3-5 are impossible.
Also, remember that you're not allowed to play on two cRPG accounts simultaneously.

True, but he is trying to get his own account and move items from the "shared" account, so that he and the other guy can have unique accounts instead of sharing the same one.
Regardless, it does appear that the OP should take Meow's offer up since that is the only way to get things to work.

I just shared a lot, Peter is getting his own comp in a couple days, ErniusPetergius is in reality Ernius, started with the help of Petergius 2 years ago. Where have you been Dex anyways? I miss you and am sad because you havent stabbed me in a long time.
