I am aware of some guys and recently it seems to be an issue in a broader sense in the community that items which are equiped and then sold are still usable from the once who sold them.
I told chadz about that bug about 1-2 months ago in irc but didn't get a response.
I don't know if the devs, admins are aware of this, but it makes me sick that there seem to be lots of people using this bug to equip themselves with loomed items.
I am also advising to make bans depending on the time that has been used and the amount of items it has been used with.
So please fix this bug that it can't be abused anymore!

I reported (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,16194.0.html) it aswell, hope this can be fixed.
-
It makes me sick that people have loom advantages in the first place, so I am all for this feature. Spread the wealth.

I find it quite ironic that a Grey and a wolve are reporting this

This is true, i noticed this bug when i had my MW xbow equipped on the site and then i sold it on the marketplace. I could still use it as long as i didnt unequip it on the site.
Imagine some1 has a +3 body armor he sells it (still has it equiped) buys +3 golves equips them and then sells them for a +3 helm equips it and then sells the helm for a mw weapon. He can have a whole set of ghost mws equipped and usable at the price of one.
This is a serious issue and should be fixed asap

From my understanding of this bug, once you change autoequip, you loose the item. So you would not actually be able to do what you say, you need all items equipped at once while you own them.
I am for fixing this bug, but I have noticed most members of factions are doing this, so if you start banning people for it you will lose most of your community.

How can you even notice?
-
Ah now i understand, BlackMilk thinks that clans who all use roughly the same equipment transfer all the gear from one another equiping it.
This is precisely why it should be fixed asap

Has also been reported here (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,10803.msg155156.html#msg155156) ..
Told my guys already not to abuse it, as it might be considered cheating.

Really, who cares about this bug. You all say heirlooms aren't that big of an advantage so what should it matter.

because it is an unjustified advantage, some might call it cheating. I would never say heirlooms are no big adavantage, full loomed set of armor is imba

Have i done anything to you that you feel the need to imply and pull crap on me?
Not only that, you did not point specifically to me, but to my clan in the way you wrote it.
I am disappointed and offended by you BlackMilk.
Really, who cares about this bug.
I care about fairness, in the sense that for some players it is an achievement, they are proud of symbols as they invested for them a shitload of time to get them. Is it good or bad for those people to think and feel that way. I don't know, but who am i to judge anyway.

As far as i was told an from what i know so far of the game, yes they can give you an edge sometimes. If you play siege it perhaps wont matter so much, if you play battle and any death is final, having the ability to just survive one more strike and getting out of a bad situation, can make you loose or win a match. These situations are rare in my experience. But far more important than your gear are the levels, if you are in a higher level and have more skill points, you get more of an edge then with some looms.
The biggest advantage you can get is when you understand the game mechanics and get that sorted out with your nervous system!

The funny thing is that - from what I heard - Wolves and Greys are exploiting this bug the most, and allthough this info is most likely wrong (atleast the wolves part) it still amuses me. :D No offense man, Id love to see this annoying bug removed too. Reported in irc moooonths ago (May I guess)

Nvm, doublepost.

I know of 2 guys within the wolves who at sometime used that bug, i told them then as i would tell them now to stop that. If they still would use it and get banned because of using that bug, it wouldn't make me happy but i would actually support a ban then. I don't know where you get your information from, but acting on rumors and spreading them is as bad as putting them in the air in the first place. In reallife there are laws against it, in a community like this you can do it without getting punished. But don't think for a second i or others you spit on, would forget about such stuff. Words do have power. I am still pissed.
Telling me now that most likely the wolves don't take part in that and the greys do, because you know that for sure  doesn't help your case either. It is not about the wolves or the greys, i believe in many clans this is known and in some it maybe used a lot. I don't point fingers as i can't and don't want to spill dirt about a whole player community only because there are some black sheep.
No offence? You didn't apologize, which would have been the least,
so to be firm in a way i rarely am. Fuck You!

holy crap, kinngrimm, I am shattered. I know that there are alot of clans and guys using this bug, even I did so at some point (sold a loomed crossbow but was still able to use it, unintentionally). Yes, this bug is annoying and should be removed and no, I really didnt want to hurt your feelings or anything. I did not want to pull crap on you and didnt want to spit on anybody. I do know that words have power, but I really dont get the real life part and why I would be punished for jokes irl.
I heard rumors like "When you join the wolves they give you a full loomed set of armor", but assuming that you just told us that there were only 2 wolves using it, it seems to be false information.
I am deeply and truely sorry if I hurt your feelings. I went too far earlier on and Id really like to apologize for my missbehaviour.
