Title: Retirement Question
Post by: Mr_Moe on January 04, 2011, 02:25:56 pm
Hey guys,
im pretty new in Crpg (lvl 21, at least no peasant anymore!).
I just started playing and wasting my points cause i wanted to try out different weapons and playstyles.
So now I'm thinking about retirement. All your points get reseted right? And you start of at lvl 1 keeping ur gold and eq, gaining some stat bonus for one of your item and a little xp boost?
Do I loose the 5k gold for the retirement process? And do I have to choose one item to update immediatly, or can I wait and choose an item i buy later on?

regards,

moe

You lose the retirement cost (5k for the first time).

You have to choose the heirloom item when retiring, it is part of the process - you cannot retire without choosing some item to heirloom. You also need to own the said item and be able to use it, so you can't heirloom a longbow without being an archer, horse without being cav etc.

Level 31. You still have weeks to go.

You can think about selling your heirloom point (about 500k-600k) and to buy a +1 item on the marketplace (about 300k-400k).
It's a long way to go to lvl 31:infinitum.dyndns.org/crpg/calc.htm (http://infinitum.dyndns.org/crpg/calc.htm)

If you really messed up your build you can try to rescpec.
